SoMa Restaurante - Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the restaurant has large picture windows overlooking Calle Goya. Decor is contemporary with linen tablecloths, designer dinnerware, fresh flowers, and candles. Menu is modern Mediterranean and changes regularly.
SoMa Lounge - Open throughout the day, the lounge is adjacent to the restaurant and serves an all day bar menu of hot and cold alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, milkshakes, snacks, sandwiches, light meals, and desserts.
Recreation
Guests can hire EcoBikes (bicycles with electric motors) from the hotel. Nearby, Madrid's leafy Retiro Park has a large boating lake, tracks for jogging, roller skating and cycling, boules pitches, and a sports centre with tennis courts and football pitches.

“Great hotel in Madrid”
My friend and I spent three pleasant nights at this hotel in mid-September 2010. We were both happy with the accommodations and the hotel staff. The hotel is clean, modern, and well-located. Easy access to Retiro Park, Metro, and city center. The hotel rates, which we had locked in several months before arriving, were amazingly low given the high quality of the rooms, amenities, and the always helpful and pleasant staff. I had read a few negative reviews about this hotel on the web, especially regarding the hotel staff, but we found everything and everyone there to be perfectly agreeable and obliging. Staff allowed us to check in early after our arrival from U.S. Loved the library, free newspapers, and the wifi access, which worked well even on the ninth floor. I'm a 44-yr old male living in DC, well-traveled, Spanish-speaker. I would not have taken the time to write this review if I did not feel that the hotel and it's staff earned my gratitude and admiration.

Lovely modern, clean and friendly hotel. On a classy street right opposite one of Goya Metro station's exit, this hotel was great for our trip as a group of friends looking to explore Madrid. The hotel is in a nice shopping district conveniently located for seeing all areas of Madrid.
“Great Experience!”
I am a clean freak and this hotel was CLEAN. It was Excellent. Located in a nice area with lots of up-scale shopping, and restaurants around. The service was superb. All staff members were friendly and helpful with: making reservations for us, finding train schedules, helping with directions, etc. I am extremely pleased and would definitely recommend to friends & family.

Great hotel. Little out of the center of the city but subway is right across the street and it was kind of nice to be away from the commotion and in "real" Madrid.

“Great stay!”
My father and I stayed at the Vincci Soma in Madrid and we loved it! Like many hotels in Spain we arrived in our room to see that the room for "two with two beds" meant two beds right next to each other (to make a double bed). But unlike many rooms in Spain we were able to move the beds around so we could seperate them enough so I didn't have to have my father snoring in my ear all night! The room and the hotel were quite modern and very comfortable. After traveling for a month it was nice to be able to go down to their quiet library and use the computer (free access). Newspapers from around the world too. On the day that we left for the airport, we had to be woken up at 3AM. Not only did the staff call us, but they actually came up to the room and knocked on our door 10 minutes later to be sure we were awake. When we went down to the lobby, there was a taxi already waiting for us. I would recommend this hotel. Everyone was very nice, it was clean and comfortable, and the location was great too - lots of of shops and restaurants and even two fabulous chocolateria's in the neighborhood (plus a Metro station straight across the street was helpful too)!
“Excellent Sejour Excellent Quartier”
A tout point de vue cet hotel nous parait parfait. Situé juste en face du metro Goya est tres facile d'acces. quartier calme et animé et non bruyant.Excellent petit déjeuner copieux et varié(prix en plus de la chambre).Personnel assez souriant.Chambre propre(evier des années 60!)Nous étions au 7 ieme etage tres calme et pas de bruit exterieur. Salle de bibliotheque salle de gymnastique. Si on revient à Madrid sans doute ce sera dans cet hotel.4 étoile pour prix modique. Ne cherchez plus...
