“Great Hotel!”
Great Hotel. In the center of it all! If anything, make sure to go to the club called "Capital" which is a couple of blocks away.

“Pas juste un 5***** mais un 5***** Grand luxe!”
Ce n'est pas juste un 5***** mais un 5***** Grand Luxe ! L'hôtel est décoré d'une manière très originale et comprend un petit musée égyptien dans le niveau -1. Le personnel est très aimable et serviable. On nous a offert 2 verres de champagne pour nous souhaiter un bon séjour. La chambre était magnifique, le staff prenait soin de chaque détail : du chocolat sur les oreillers, une fleur rouge splendide qu'il remplace tous les jours. Il prépare le lit 2 fois par jour et de 2 façons différentes. Les produits du soin (shampoing, gel douche, crème pour le corps...) sont d'une qualité exceptionnelle. L'hôtel dispose aussi d'un bar très animé et très chic fréquenté par la haute classe espagnole mais aussi par une certaine classe de touristes raffinés. Une terrasse avec une vue magnifique sur Madrid vient compléter ce beau cadre au dernier étage qui dispose aussi d'une petite piscine agréable. L'hôtel est en plein centre de la ville, tout est accessible à pieds. A essayer absolument !
“The stunning Urban Hotel”
Just returned from 5 nights at The Urban - what a stunning hotel. Rooms are quite small so upgraded to a junior suite which was lovely with the best hotel bathroom I have seen. Perfectly located in a very central position so its easy to walk pretty much everywhere. Public areas in the hotel are seriously stylish and the Glass Bar was busy every night, serving great cocktails. The restaurant breakfast is excellent - beautifully presented fruit, cheese, spanish omlette, salmon, cured meats and toasted ciabattas, cereals, breads and pastries plus hot dishes cooked to order if required. Service from absolutely everyone from reception, restaurant, bar and doormen was superb. Only (minor) critisism is that furnitue in the rooms is looking a little tired compared to the very high quality of the public areas and bathrooms but in every other respect this is a totally lovely place to stay!
“Wonderful hotel, great amenities and staff!”
This hotel is situated close to many cultural sites: Prado, Reina Sophia, Botanical Gardens, Retiro Park. As Madrid is a walking city, it's only about 10 minutes from Puerta del Sol and great shopping. The people at Urban are the best. Very professional and helpful. Our room, though on the busy street (we asked for it), was noiseless once we closed the windows. Nice sitting area and bathroom very comfortable (Great shower). Good tapas in the bar, where we drank our complimentary glass of champagne. We stayed in another hotel with our adult kids earlier in the week, and this was a very nice upgrade! Would definitely consider staying here again.

“Ultra Modern Chic Hotel”
My boyfriend and I have just returned from a four night stay at the Urban and although I have rated this hotel a 5 for cleanliness, service, etc, there were some gripes. Firstly, the rooms have wooden parquet flooring, which although I love, does make them extremely noisy. On our second evening there, we were woken at 4.00am by the couple next door having a major row,stomping across the floor, and closing doors. Our third evening was even worse as we didn't realise Hallowean was such a major event in Madrid and were woken at 4.30am with people out on the streets shouting,which went on until 6.00am! All this was not helped by the fact that our room was positioned on the left of the hotel, facing right out onto the street! Other than that I loved the hotel and would definitely stay there again, although my other half is not so keen! Have a drink in the glass bar before or after dinner as it is defintely the place to be seen in Madrid. Like many other people we were not sure why an egg was left on our pillow instead of a chocolate, and I did mean to ask!

Best place ever, the staff was really helpfull and the place and restaurants were great. The bar also has the best Sangria that I had in Madrid!!
“un hôtel moderne qui ne ment pas sur ses cinq étoiles”
J'ai passé sept jours à madrid à l'hôtel Urban qui est certainement l'un des plus modernes et des plus design de madrid. Ce fut un grand plaisir de vivre dans cet hôtel lumineux et d'une netteté irréprochable. Les chambres certes moyennement grandes sont bien pensées et les salles de bain très design sont agréables et confortables. Je recommande également de prendre le petit déjeuner à l'hôtel, les cafés du quartier ne proposant pas l'équivalent pour les 21 euros demandés. En outre, le positionnement de l'hôtel entre le retiro et la puerta del Sol fait que l'on peut tout faire à pied sans se fatiguer, ce qui par temps de chaleur est très appréciable. Allez faire aussi un tour le soir sur le toit de l'immeuble ou l'on peut boire un verre de façon très agréable.
