“Excellent”
For all practical purposes, the hotel was of four-star quality. The room itself was of a five-star quality. It was spacious, well-decorated, and well-maintained.
“Nice and convenient location”
This hotel is very centrally located. No need to use a taxi if you are okay with traveling by metro. It's on a street parallel to one of the biggest streets in Madrid (Gran Via), so the street itself is nothing special, but well-located for tourists, in my opinion. Our room was huge and we had a kitchenette area with fridge. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.
“Very Impressed”
The hotel room was very clean and fairly spacious. We had a twin room, wher the beds were of a good size with comfortable linen. Flat screen TV and desk. Kitchen area with fridge, sink, cupboards and microwave. bathroom, small but very clean and well stocked. Lovely balcony overlooking the street. Sound proofed too, so no problems with noise, although the hotel was quiet for our stay. Hotel reception staff were great, really helpful and knowledgeable. A great little hideaway for a Madrid experience.
“Nice hotel and conveniently located”
The stay was good. The hotel was conveniently located and easily accessible from metro station. The people in front desk were always nice, spoke English and were helpful. We chose this as Suites 33 was one of the few hotels that had a room for 3-4 adults. One issue: The hotel did not have a good sign board and it was difficult to locate first time.
“Great but could still improve”
The quality of what is provided is excellent and well maintained. However the lack of breakfast facilities or bar could be compensated for in the kitchenette already in the rooms. At least a kettle and tea/coffee making would be nice.
“Nous conseillons à tout voyageur cet hôtel propre, confortable et d'un bon rapport qualité prix.”
nous nous sommes stationnés en face de l'hôtel sans nous en rendre compte tout de suite, il n'y a rien aucune enseigne extérieur visible qui nous dit que l'hotel est là
“Just What I Need it”
Great location. Staff was very friendly and very accomodating, especially Justine at the front desk. This is a hotel that does not have any room service, bar o restaurant. It almost doesn't have a lobby. But, if you can live without that, it's a great place. What I really look for in a hotel is location, price, room confort and free WiFi. This one has it all. The rooms are also decent size, nice and clean. I will come back.
“Great value for location and”
The room was huge, very clean, and had a small balcony overlooking the street. We were surprised to also have a kitchen area with fridge, cooker, and microwave. This was not advertised and had no equipment, so maybe they are planning to provide that later. Hotel was quiet at night and without much traffic outside. Location is good, there are two Metro stations within 5 minutes walk (Plaza Espana and Santo Domingo).
“Good location”
Easy to walk to the centre of town. Our room face onto an internal airlock and so was nice and quiet. Don't know whether the kitchenette would be of much use had we tried it as there was no equipment in it, but it made the room seem more spacious. No complaints.

Area:
Plaza de Espana - Royal Palace, Madrid, Spain: At the western end of the arterial Gran Via, Plaza de España is home to Franco-era architecture like the monstrous red and white Edificio España. The nearby Palacio Real (royal palace) was rebuilt in 1764 and is still used for state functions. It contains some wonderfully ornate rooms and is free on Wednesdays to EU citizens (take your passport). Admire the statues in the lovely Sabatini Gardens afterwards.
