Honest Feedback from a Solo Traveler
The staff here was super helpful and accommodating with me as a non-Spanish speaker while I was there. Nice Rooms. A little hot at night for my liking with the thermostat (even at lowest available setting) but all in all, it was good. The only thing I would say is that because it was my first time in Madrid and I was taking a few days of leisure there, I found it challenging to get around easily on foot. I had to book a taxi back and forth because the hotel is kind of out of the way from where the nightlife and major sites are there. 1.5 miles is not far but when you end up walking 12 miles a day and if you need to have a rest or shower or change before you go out to dinner or something, you will want to take that taxi. This hotel would be great for someone traveling for business. It's very quiet and I felt safe there.

We are 0,9 miles away form Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor and there is a bus stop (#50) by the NH Ribera lobby entrance that leads you to City Center in just 8 minutes. We are not at the city center but close enough to enjoy it as well as Rio Lineal Park calm and noiseless comfort. Longing to see you again any time soon.

Everything was great! The staff were really helpful and had every answer to my questions. The room was nice and clean. The cleaning staff would make sure the room was clean and neat everyday day.

Excellent hotel accommodations and service. Hotel staff was was wonderful. Great location, to go for a walk in the afternoons and it was at 10 minutes away by bus or taxi from Madrid Center. Highly recommend this place.

Staff were very kind. Arrived on morning flight and although check in was not until 3pm, they provided a room at 10 am so I was able to get settled and have a good nap before meeting my son later that day. Room was always clean (only one person) and on Xmas Eve upon return to hotel there were chocolates left on bed with card from hotel. What a nice touch. Very pleased with this find. - and I never leave reviews…

The facilities are in excellent conditions and well kept, rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is worth every penny. If you enjoy walking, there's a park near by and you're within 20 to 30 walking minutes from el Mercado de San Miguel, Cathedrals, landmarks and others.

The Apple Pie takes always 7 minutes at east to be ready as it has to be finished into the oven and we did not warn you when you placed the order. Nice Hotel in Madrid
It was only for one night but we enjoyed the stay. Room was clean and well equipped. The hostesses were very friendly and helpful. The cost was very competitive.

Clean, comfortable, sufficient
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. I chose it because I was visiting my sister and it was fairly close to her apartment. I didn’t really spend much time in the room, so it was sufficient for my needs. I really just needed a clean, comfortable place to sleep. It’s not really close to a Metro station. My sister’s apartment is near the Puerto Angél stop, either I walked on the Madrid Rio path to her apartment and we got on the Metro there, or she met me at the hotel and we walked to the Opéra stop, which includes a steep uphill walk behind the cathedral. I ate the breakfast at the hotel. It’s convenient and the food was good. Most likely there is cheaper breakfast food available at restaurants in the neighborhood, but my Spanish is very weak, so I didn’t mind paying for the convenience of the hotel breakfast. Overall it was a pleasant stay that met my needs.

Hotel in a mostly residential area. Restaurant and bar manager not a customer focus person very abrupt and rude, he spoilt our stay. Bar closed on a Friday night at 22.30. Reception very helpful rooms only missing tea and coffee making facilities which I would expect to have given the price we paid. Breakfast was over priced but a good continental type range. Would I stop there again, due to price, location and mostly Restaurant manager.

Not a business hotel.
Not a business hotel. Poor room decor, no kettle/iron, breakfast starts at 7 or 8. Too late. Breakfast was poor. No gluten free, kiddies yogurts, dreadful scrambled eggs. Noise part midnight. They try to fit too many people in breakfast room and small reception. Swimming pool stupidly small, like a jacuzzi without bubble. Really expensive.

Nice but tiny change could improve it
The hotel is well located and clean. My second stay there. My only issue is there is no complimentary water in the room and no tea or coffee facilities in the room.
