“Excellent Service”

Great comfort, an excellent service. The room has soft pillows and sheets which was very important to me. I felt like I was home.

“Very impressive”

From its location on the tree-lined Paseo de la Castellana to its friendly, helpful staff the Intercontinental was a highlight of our visit to Madrid. I definitely recommend this hotel, especially the Club level.

“Excellent hotel”

Fully agree with earlier comments, staff very helpful and friendly. Business location but easy access to the centre. First class service and very comfortable room. Excellent food in the restaurant but breakfast charges excessive. Gym well equipped but missed not having a pool.

“Good hotel - but expensive”

As you would expect the hotel was good and had all of the facilities you would need. We had a good room size which had a feel of quality to it. The location is a little outside the main areas, but with two Metro stations very close it was not a problem. You can walk to the main areas but give yourself about 30 minutes The only problem was that the hotel was expensive if you wanted to eat or drink anything. Breakfast €32 each a Beer €9. However there are Cafe's and bars not far away which are much more reasonable.

“Beautiful Hotel”

This hotel is amazing. The hotel team is very friendly, the rooms are spacious, clean; and the bath tub is HUGE! The morning breakfast was delicious. We totally enjoyed our stay here and look forward to coming back.

“Good hotel in a nice location”

Although the hotel is in business area, it still is convenient enough for tourists like ourselves. The hotel was easy walking distance to Madrid's highend shopping area Serrano street and also to number of reasonable Spanish restaurants and tapas bars. Additionally, if you do not mind using local tube (subway) system, nearby station was less than five minutes away. Talking about Madrid's tube system, it is convenient and reliable trasportation system especially comparing it with London undergrounds. Coming back to the hotel, I would definitely stay again when I visit Madrid either on business or pleasure.

“1st Class hotel”

An excellent hotel for a quick break - a touch of luxury - very comfortable and good service from nice people. Location very good for visiting most areas via local bus service or metro.
