“ood hotel to stay”

The hotel was very good. Located in a prime area - it was accessible to most of the locations by a bus. it is a little bit away from the city center but not that far off. Very good staff and helpful.

“Quite and comfortable away from the hub of Madrid”

The hotel was quiet, comfortable and had a good bathroom. It is a bit bland and generic, but has all the basics. We didn't need anything else. Other reviewers have pointed out that it is located well away from the centre of Madrid and the tourist highlights. True, but the metro station is right on the corner, and it is also on a main bus route, so that didn't present a major problem. Public transport in Madrid is excellent. We had booked online through Expedia requesting a room for four adults. It took ten seconds to realise that Mum, Dad and two twenty something sons were not going to share this room. The staff were incredibly helpful assisting us to buy a suitable second room to allow us to spread out and actually enjoy our time here. My one quibble was that the rather expensive WiFi was rubbish. I was limited to basic internet browsing only. No email download to Mail. No access to secure websites for internet banking, forward bookings, or checking in on the office VPN (OK that last one wasn't a bad thing on holiday). If I've paid extra for the service, I expect it to work.

“Useful for Madrid stop-over”

The hotel is very clean and tidy and is as you would expect a holiday inn to be. we were a little disappointed to find that although we had booked for two adults and two children they do not provide rooms with a double and two singles, so a bit of an unsettled night for the kids. The area around the hotel is a bit rundown, and if you are using this as a base to explore madrid, you will have to use the metro to get into the interesting areas of the town. Santiago Bernabeu metro station is a 2 minute walk away (the metro is one of the best i have travelled on!) Breakfast was very pleasant, with a wide selection of hot and cold foods and there was plenty to eat! Breakfast was served from 6:30 to 11, so no need to rush and check-out was not until midday which all made for a nice, relaxing morning. This hotel provided a luggage storage facility, which was great as we checked out by 12 and our flight wasn't until 10 in the evening which meant we could enjoy an unhindered afternoon in the city and then back to the hotel to grab the bags before headed off to the airport.

“I would not recommend this hotel to my close friends.”

I would not recommend this hotel to my close friends. The location is not good. It is far from everything. There is no parking for the car.

“Good hotel”

The Hotel is excellent and the room rate was very competitive, however, breakfast was extemely expensive. I would recommend obtaining a rate which includes bed and breaakfast so that a shock is avoided.

“Cancellation policy”

Due to illness of our child, we had to cancel our trip to Madrid on July 26. We lost the reservation fee ($ 170.00) The Cancellation policy stated 48 hours. This is not goof policy. I will never book at this hotel and still want my money back.
