After 10pm there is nobody in reception. They locked my door for a problem with my card and there was nobody absolutely nobody to communicate with. I had to, in the middle is the night, on my daughters birthday go on a cab to find another hotel otherwise we would have been in the street for the night. I emailed, called and nobody got back to me. Next day I went tying to talk to the manager, who did not even apologize. My medication, which I need daily was in my room. He did not offer any solution and did not seem to care. Terrible experience.

Not a business hotel, very noisy!
I wanted to like this hotel as they are obviously making an effort to refurbish, however, the noise from the street, the corridor and the lifts make it very hard to sleep when you have an important meeting the next day. The beds are comfy but the rest was a disappointment!

The room was located right off the lobby. Noisy. Sparsely furnished. No available plug-ins. Very run diwn. Kitchenette was a disaster even though we had no intention of using it.

Good location,but needs renovation.
This place has seen better days, it’s falling apart to be honest. I had read previous reviews and seen pictures so knew what to expect. Good location but really just somewhere to sleep and get a shower, rooms are clean but there’s not much a cleaner can do about holes in the floor and ceiling.

Area outside our room had loose floor tiles, huge holes in the ceiling, large brown stains ceiling to floor, rooms in need of decoration, no bath plug, no hairdryer, only one mains socket in living quarters three foot above the floor too near to the room door.However room large and clean and beds very comfy.

No air-conditioning
The air-conditioning was not working but if you open the window the noise from Almagra Str. gets in your room, so it is impossible to sleep. The staff offered us a fan but that was of little help in the hot Madrid nights. Breakfast at a cafe nearby was meager and too slow to come. Otherwise, the room was good - clean and large but don't open the window on Friday and Saturday nights, as there are two restaurants downstairs with tables on the sidewalk full of noisy customers well after midnight. The quarter is very good with a metro station very near.

Good Base Camp for a stag
Hotel is mid refurb, can see that there is potential - some of the rooms done. Handy location in a nice area. Staff were helpful and bar downstairs nice.

Brilliant location at a very good price! We stayed in a recently refurbished room which was modern and comfortable! Breakfast "buffet" was included which wasn't great, included 2 slices of toast and a cup of tea/coffee! Overall would stay again if on a budget as ideal location and close to lots of restaurants and cafes/bars!

Charges 12 euros a day for WIFI
Checked in and the went to use the toilet and it was dirty. How can a hotel like this charges 12 euros a day for wifi service, I stayed in 11 cities on this trip and this was the only hotel charging for WIFI service, unacceptable.

OK for 2 nights if you get a high floor
Mixed feelings here... Make sure you get a room in the higher floors, otherwise the heating wont reach your apartment... yes, you read that right... the lower the floor the colder it gets due to heating system being so old it does not reach the lower floors. I was changed from the 2nd to the 5th coz of this, although I had to sleep in a single bed instead of the double one I had booked. Shocking you have to pay 12€ for WiFi... Cheeky cheeky... Come one, is this a joke? Rest was fine, everything needs to be updated but everything was super clean and location is perfect. Staff could do with a smile though

Good location for a good price!
The room was quite comfortable for a several day stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The hotel was located two blocks from the metro which made travel very easy and was within walking distance of several restaurants and cafes.

El sitio está totalmente descuidado y sin mantenimiento. Las paredes de la habitación estaban sucias y con partes rotas y desprendidas. A la puerta le faltaba el marco. El televisor (mini televisor porque debe se de 14") está de adorno porque es tan antiguo que no soporta canales HD, asi que ahora que ya solo se emiten canales en ese formato, en el televisor no se puede ver nada. A pesar de que el hotel ofrece desayuno, no tiene cafetería ni restaurante, tienes que salir del hotel e ir a una cafetería de la calle que está cruzando una carretera. Desaconsejo totalmente este sitio.

Camera pulita, spaziosa. Bagno pulito, cambio salviette giornaliero, ma senza servizi di hotelery(no shampoo, phon, cotton fioc…). Finiture molto scarse, pavimento e intonaci in alcuni punti rotti Punto NEGATIVO : rumoroso, molto rumoroso… troppo rumoroso Punto POSITIVO: posizione strategica x visitare la città. A pochi metri da fermata metro e in posizione comunque molto vicina al centro Ci hanno tenuto i bagagli sia prima del check in che dopo il check out

Los pasillos acumalaban suciedad, al menos en la planta 3°. La habitación estaba limpia. Falta conservación. Las paredes presentan muchisimos rayones de maletas posiblemente. La TV parece un monitor de PC. Es enana. El desayuno es un ticket para irte a un bar a 50 m. Recepción muy amables, eso si.

Mi vuelo se retrasó y llegue como a las 22:30, porque estuve buscando el hotel como Hotel "Boutique Urban Genova", lo cual "no existe" en el sitio tiene otro nombre completamente diferente, por lo que cuando pude identificar cual era, en la recepción no había nadie, marque en varias ocasiones al contacto y no me contesto nadie, la comunicación es nula con el hotel, realmente no lo recomiendo en lo absoluto, estuve buscando en los alrededores un hotel y no pude encontrar ninguno, tuve que dormir con mi esposa en el aeropuerto de Madrid.

Muy mala atención desde el momento de la recepción y el check in. Nos robaron cosas de la habitación, hicimos el reclamo y nos dijeron que era culpa nuestra que lo habíamos perdido. Las habitaciones están viejas, no son como las muestran en imágenes.
