“Good and reasonably priced option”
Hotel was well located to the purpose of my trip, but it is not close to main tourist attractions, although it is one block away from the subway, therefore very easy to get to places. Apartment was spacious and well equipped.
“Away from the noise, but close to Azca”
Close to Azca area and very quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not luxery, but very comfortable, particularly if you have a suite type apartment with separate bedroom.
“Hôtel-appart sympa à proximité immédiate d' une station de métro avec garage”
Au sein d' un immeuble sans caractère particulier. Un bon accueil en espagnol et éventuellement anglais. Chambre propre mais en gros à condition dene pas regarder sous le frigo...
“Pleasantly surprised”
Didn't know what to expect. The hotel turned out to be very nice, with very friendly and helpful staff. The very close location to the Teuchuen Metra station turned out to be a blessing in terms of dragging luggage to the hotel. A number of good restaurants nearby. Didn't discover a fresh produce store just a couple of blocks down until the end of our trip. Overall, I would select this hotel again - not in the high tourist area, but comfortable, affordable, and great Metra access.
“Depends what you want”
I needed a place to stay to be close to another hotel for an International Convention but didn't want to pay uts price for facilities I wouldn't use. Hence an apartment hotel very close to metro was ideal. Having a fridge, microwave/ grill enabled me to make my own breakfast which suited fine; the only hotel breakfast was room service, minimal, overpriced for what it was and not available when I wanted it. Room itself was great, sofa, table, TV, wi-fi (kitchette built in behind sliding doors), separate bathroom and bedroom all ample sized. Needed to ask for cupboard to be unlocked to give access to crockery, cutlery etc. Seemed to wait quite a time for the lift- since only on 2nd floor I usually walked. Reception manned 24 hour, spoke sufficient English- not the hotel to go to if you want service, but as a place like a home but where rooms cleaned in your absence it was great.
“Choose for a Madrid neighborhood experience...”
We were looking for a more authentic, neighborhood experience and Aparthotel G3 Galeon fit the bill. While a 2 minute walk from the metro line that goes straight into Sol, it also felt removed from the touristy hubbub. Cafe de Columbia is a great local cafe for breakfast just down the lane from the entrance. It's not your typical hotel so depends on what you're looking for.
“Stayed here twice.”
The hotel is very close to the City Centre. And not far from one of many Metro stations in the area. Madrid's Metro is very efficient in my opinion. I've stayed on two separate occasions, in two similar rooms & found both o.k. However, on both occassions, "double room" has actually been a twin. Would stay here again, as overall stays were very pleasant.
“Satisfied overall”
Most things considered would stay at this Hotel again
“off the beaten path but near a metro stop”
Internet was included. The kitchen was nicely appointed. Small stores and a couple of nice eating places in the neighborhood. about a 5 minute walk to the metro
“Plutot déçu par le confort et l'hygiène”
Insonorisation nulle !! rien de convivial à proximité
