Desk service and maid service was very good. The hotel has access to taxis, city buses and underground just outside the front door. The morning breakfast buffet was excellent, although a little crowded at times. The room was small and had limited electrical outlets. The shower soap dispenser did not work well. The bed lacked a cover sheet or other light cover, just one heavy cover. The elevators were adequate, but sometimes rather slow. The wifi system had to be reinstated each time one used it.

Excellent Experience
I had an excellent stay at AC Los Vascos. I needed to travel to Madrid on a family matter and I was a little concerned about how the Hotel would be during the pandemic. I was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, the staff was very accommodating and overall I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you.

I suggest a few things: - Laundry facilities or a contract with a laundry service. We were told we had to walk 12 mins to wash our own clothes. - Due to holiday, there was no restaurant service after breakfast nor 24-room room service. We chose the property for those amenities. - Across the street was a workout place. I suggest a daily, affordable membership be offered. I’d pay $10/day to use it. The in-hotel workout room was too tiny with no treadmill or room to stretch, do yoga. There’s an easy solution right across the street. Staff was great, fabulous, sweet, helpful. Location nice. We appreciated the coffee, croissants that were available most of the time.

It was very cozy and clean. Great big bathroom and working environment controls. Restaurant was okay...was served raw chicken but he was very apologetic and fixed it right away.

We stayed at this hotel since it was a 10 minute walk from where our daughter was studying. It was also a 5 minute walk to a Metro stop. We read the previous reviews about unfriendly staff. We did not find this to be true. We met quite a few of the front desk and restaurant staff over our 7 day stay. They were all extremely helpful and pleasant. They all spoke English which made it more helpful. Our room was small but we were only there to sleep. The room and hotel were very clean. We liked being out of the hustle and bustle of central Madrid and this hotel was only 15-20 minutes from the center of Madrid. We would definitely stay here again.

Top value quality in Madrid
Staff were very pleasant and helpful, the room was more than big enough and very clean and I had a very comfy stay. The decor is slightly outdated but who cares for this price! The area is super close to all of the hot spots and I would definitely recommend staying.

An average stay
My stay here is for 3 nights and it was really overpriced because of the soccer games. The location is not great as it’s quite far from the city centre by walking . The room is small but clean enough . On the whole , it’s a decent stay and the hotel does not seem to belong to the Marriott brand which I feel is more high end .

We stayed here on 2 different t occasions while visiting our daughter who is studying in Madrid. The staff, especially Elena are very helpful. The facility is well maintained and well situated in university city. The only disappointment was the paid breakfast. Very few choices and pricey

A decent place to stay
Clean hotel, with a decent choices of food for breakfast. Rooms are rather small, basically fits a bed and a chair in the room. Comfortable beds, good set of amenities. Nice and friendly personnel. There is a small shop in the hotel to buy some drinks and necessities. Also there is an underground garage (with very tight spacing). The price for the garage is 21% of room price, so in my case was around 15 EURO/night. WiFi sort of slow. Nothing special in the surrounding area, but there are some restaurants and pubs nearby. All in all, a decent place to stay.

The staff was wonderful. Several different reasons 1) we got to the hotel at about 10-10:30am after being in the air all night. They immediately got us in our room so we could sleep 2) I realized I booked the room incorrectly and needed to be able to sleep 3 vs 2 (which I booked). They got us another room and although we couldn't get in to it as early, the front desk called us as soon as the additional room was available so we could get caught up on sleep 3) the staff realized we were challenged with the language (didn't speak as much spanish as we thought) and made every accommodation to help us get around. The staff was professional and personable the entire time. It was a great experience

Clean modern hotel. Nice staff. About 35 min walk to city center. Local area has just a few places to eat, so walking, driving, or taxi is a must. Not a bad place, just a long walk to every place I went.

Great for business in this area of Madrid
I have business to conduct in walking distance of this hotel. There aren't many hotels in this particular area. This one is economical but very nice. Comfortable and convenient. I will definitely stay there again.

Perfect location for the university, and also close to the Metro. Our room was well furnished and very pleasant. It is also a particularly quiet area, no street noise at all.

Stayed just for one night in the hotel but overall it was very clean and upkept very well. Customer service was open when I arrived at midnight and still made it very easy to check in. Ac was lack luster and so was the comfort of the bed itself. Plug ins did not work unless you left the light on so that was a major drag.

If you are seeking cool comfort, book elsewhere! Air conditioning is marvelous in the lobby, but in rooms 316 or 305, plan to sweat and not breathe it's so hot! Staff seems unhelpful when discussing the level of uncomfort. Inviting them to the room to experience the sweaty unbearably hot conditions, the response is apathy and we need to deal with the horribly hot temp. Room exceeds 36 Celsius! It's only 26 outside!

Lovely hotel within easy access of the city centre
Lives up to the Marriot name. Lovely, well presented hotel within easy reach of the city centre either by the metro (5 minutes walk to the station) or taxi (reasonably priced). Hotel staff were very helpful and rooms were well presented (with a gorgeous bathroom). Would stay here again next time I visit Madrid

Nice hotel close to The Clover House Irish Pub!
The hotel was very comfortable and a great location. I strongly recommend that you stop by the The Clover House Irish Pub and grab a Guinness. Overall the staff was friendly and I would stay there again.

The room was small but its finishes and appointments were those of a five star hotel. What is lacked was the services of a five star hotel. The complimentary breakfast doesn't offer any hot dishes, and although it had 14 hours room service, the choices were very limited. If you don't plan to eat at the hotel and you're looking for a very nice room at a very affordable price, this is the place. And although it's not in the center of Madrid, that's only a ten minute taxi ride.

I'd go back there again.
For the city of Madrid, the hotel room is adequate, the bathroom is modern, laid with marble tiles, the area is quiet due to a fair distance from two main avenues, the lobby and the restaurant are welcoming with free WiFi. The bedspread is replaced every day, somewhat unnccessarily, but probably suitable for the sweating temperatures of Madrid. Overall, I'd go back there again.

Convenient, comfortable
The hotel is located between the airport and Madrid's "center" and therefore requires Metro travel to both. Convenient location for all things, considering the price and quality it was a good choice for travels. One bonus, they offer a little "happy hour" of non-alcoholic drinks and snacks everyday for free :) they also offer free Wi-Fi in the lobby. Overall, great value for the price.
