We stayed here last year and it was under construction. We hoped it would be improved this year. My daughter is there for a school event and wants to be by friends otherwise we would stay elsewhere. When we got there to check in the gentleman was very impolite and making rude remarks. I noticed in the lobby that the furniture had tears in the furniture cushions and and as we went to the elevator the chlorine smell from the pool was almost unbearable. They had boxes and junk piled in the hallway behind where they would go into the main desk check in area.
We got off on our floor and it smelled so strongly if of curry/Indian food. Like someone had just cooked dinner. It permeated through the entire floor. Our room was not the worst, but all of our furniture had tears in it (and not small tears, but large tears over 3-4 in.) the floor wasn’t cleaned well under things. We called for extra blankets for the pull out sofa and we’re told to come get them if we wanted them. I already had pajamas on so had to put clothes and shoes on and trudge downstairs. worst of all the pull out sofa did not work!
My daughter woke me at midnight to tell me she couldn’t pull the bed out. I went to help and couldn’t get it. We both pulled it and it was like it was welded. It wouldn’t budge!
We will not be staying again!

After check-in we got to our room. Discovered that the air conditioning unit did not have a bottom cover on it, there were outlets not actually placed properly on the wall, there was construction markings on the floor and food crumbs left behind on the floors from previous guests. TV Box was hanging halfway from the wall and the shower had a leak where the spout up on the shower head and every time we shower the shower leaked all over the entire bathroom floor. We swam our first day because we had children with and after we went out and got dinner, we asked for more towels And the gentleman at the front desk question why we needed more towels if we just checked in that day, and he was very rude. We asked for an extra blanket as we had the kids sleeping on the couch and needed another blanket, He also questioned why we needed that. Breakfast was mediocre the eggs were constantly in a puddle of water. At the end of the hallway on the third floor, there were chords coming out of the ground and we’re not properly covered. There was also a female worker pointing her phone in the pool area through the door while our group was swimming.
