“Not bad but...”

The hotel was fine, but there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the stairwell, and one of the windows of our room didnt shut properly so we had to "rig it" to get it to stay shut. It looks like a hotel frequented by college students and their families, which is to be expected so near a major university. That said, it looked heavily utilized (kind of worn out).

“Very satisfied”

We were very satisfied with the hotel services and the clean, comfortable room. The location was convenient and easy to find.

“Cleanup in pool area needed on Sunday morning”

The lobby and room were clean, the common areas were nicely decorated, and the continental breakfast was fine.The pool area was nice. That is, the pool area was nice at check-in and that evening. In the morning, it was clear that there had been some adults partying in the pool area late Saturday night; there were beer cans in the bottom of the hot tub and other trash behind the hot tub. Everything else at the hotel was what we expected for a budget trip. I don't know why someone wouldn't have cleaned up when the pool was opened Sunday morning at 6:30. We saw the trash at 9:30 a.m.

“Days Inn Madison”

This was a clean hotel. Easy access from the road. It wasn't fancy but it was nice. Small thin towels were not appreciated. Gap under room door was large enough to hear what was going on in the hallway. Not too many places to eat or drink nearby.

“Madison over night”

The trip was an overnight one. The Days Inn was organized, clean and served a nice continental breakfast. There was no excessive noise and we were uninterrupted during our sleep. The price was great along with the service.

“All was great except for the size of the rooms.”

Everything was good except for the size of the rooms. It would have been good for one person but with two people it was crowded. No small closet just a bar as you enter the room. No small table to sit at while writing, bathroom was small, no small refrigerator or microwave. This room was not designed for two people to stay in over one night.

“For the price it was fine”

The room was clean as was the hotel.

it was a reasonable place to stay. decent free breakfast. quiet.
