Part of the greater Akron area, Macedonia and Twinsburg are mainly bedroom communities. Twinsburg, while unincorporated, does have a yearly festival that gives it a claim to fame: the yearly twins festival. Started in 1976, it draws up to 3,000 sets of twins each year, from all over the world.
