“a bit out of the way but very nice”

it was a bit out of the way from tourist attractions in San Antonio but the service was good and I liked the price. I was a bit disappointed it didnt have a continental breakfast. McDonalds was around the corner though.

“This is an older hotel and it shows but the room was clean and fairly comfortable.”

The bed could have been a little more comfortable. Also it was close to the interstate, but the road noise was not too bad.

“Bring slippers/extra pair of socks”

This hotel must have had bad water damage in the past. The room had an underlying smell of mildew that the hotel tried to cover up with a very strong air freshener. The air freshener is bad enough to give you a headache. The carpets are some of the filthiest I've seen, even in a low rent hotel such as this. Bring your house shoes or an extra pair of socks you can throw away. We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holidays, because a decent hotel in San Antonio would be too far to drive, we thought, from where we were celebrating Thanksgiving. We'll drive the extra miles next time. The room did have a refrigerator, and it was a fairly quiet place, but I would not recommend this hotel, if you can find someplace else.

“Cheap & Close enough to San Antonio, but way run down!!!”

This place was cheap and close enough to San Anonio to allow a not otherwise trip during spring break.. but WOW! Run down to the laughing point. I was too tired to leave though. Uhm TV had like 8 channels, remote didn't work, Peep Hole in door was a HOLE not a sight glass, I went to adjust the shower head and it popped off!!!! I actually hope I never have to stay here again. The gal at the desk was very friendly though. Oh Yeah.. Power partially went off like a breaker tripped, then mysteriously came back on...
