“Very comfortable excellent location english spoken”

Staff spoke english, they were very kind and pleasant, easy to communicate with. The location of the hotel is superb with excellent and easy transport links to everywhere in the city. The neighbourhood is indeed beautiful, nice to walk around, safe and with bakeries, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, you name it at very short walk from the hotel (indeed some just steps away). Metro station Massena two or three blocks away, trolley bus stop round the corner, very near the main rail station Gare de part dieu (rail links between airport and the city) in 30 minutes. The hotel room I got was modern, impecable, bathroom modern too and spotless. One of the most comfortable beds I have slept in, the room also had like a very neat bar table attached to the window whe you can have your coffee and meals. It was a delight to come back to this hotel room after a whole day of sightseeing in the cold because the room had excellent heating. Nice large flat tv and free and fast internet connection in your room and everywhere in the hotel. Don't expect luxury, but I admit that I was impressed by this hotel and the reason why it is a two star hotel is just that it doesn't have as I said major luxuries, the lift is tiny and that's about it. Excellent, I really hope they don't change because I will be staying there again happily in the future if I go back to Lyon, will try them in other destinations in France and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to have a pleasant stay.

“Timhotel -Lyon- Good value for money”

Good value for money except that breakfast is expensive. The only downside is there were no shower curtains and would recommend having a breafast out.
