We stayed here twice. Once at the start of a holiday and on the way home. It is currently under construction so dining room was closed during the first stay but this stay we had a nice breakfast in the morning before we left for the airport. Clean rooms and enough space for the 3 of us.

We called in to drop a family member at LYS. Unlikely setting but once inside the reception was friendly and our rooms were comfortable and in good condition and fine for a short stay. Dinner and breakfast were good. Easy access to the airport and routes beyond.

Too hot and noisy building works. Nice theme hotel
Air conditioning was set to 19C and even if you reduced the temperature, it would reset back to 19C a few seconds later. There was a sign next to it saying it will set back to 19C if the room is not occupied to be eco-friendly. However, the duvet was thick and too warm. I had to remove the duvet and open the window, which made it noisy as the hotel is just off the main road. There was also building work being done in the room directly above mine. The building works continued from about 2pm to 7.30pm on day 1 and started at 9am on day 2, and not even wait until 11am checkout time. Overall, really uncomfortable stay with lack of consideration to have customers in rooms next to the building works. The hotel was not full, in fact it seemed empty based on the car park, bar and restaurant. The restaurant only had pizzas on offer and they looked very dry. I looked around at other customers plates and all of them had cut off the very dry crusts. The pizza base was clearly not fresh. The hotel decor is however amazing and well thought through, keeping to the 1920s Gatsby theme. The complimentary tea infusion drink in the lobby was refreshing. The staff were superb and very friendly and professional. The hotel was very clean. I just wish I could have slept.

I think that a hotel claiming to be four stars shouldn't close its restaurant and bar all weekend. There is very little close by and we would have spent plenty had there been anything. We had an email saying the restaurant would be closed but that the bar would be open. In the event neither was availble. The bath was rather grotty in our room, bits of plaster peeling etc.

We chose this property as a stop over en route to the alps. We knew we would arrive quite late so specifically choose this hotel as it had a restaurant/ bar so we could feed the kids but when we got there they said the restaurant was not open that night and they couldn’t provide room service either, so we had to go back out late at night on the hunt for food and water. Not acceptable that even basic options or drinks could not be provided when they choose to close the restaurant. There were better hotel options available for the route we planed without catering, which we would have selected had we known.

Nice hôtel
It’s almost perfect. At a walking distance from EuroExpo. If you are not going to a fair, the area is not so interesting. The price is a little high, but all hotels were fully booked !

Great overnight stop to the Alps
Room and facilities were great. Only a buffet dinner was available which was quite expensive. Breakfast which was included in the room rate was very good. Location was good for an overnight stop to the Alps as it is just off the motorway.

Not a great experience
The hotel shuttle stops at 7PM and taxi from the airport was 50Euros. Room was very hot and the only solution the front desk could give was to open the window. The traffic and outside noise was awful. The room and hotel was very shabby (no chic).

This hotel is supposed to be 4 stars but I don’t agree with this rating. When we arrived at the hotel in the evening, we were told the restaurant was closed on the day, there were no where we could eat around the hotel apart from a hot dog van behind the hotel. I was also conned by a taxi they ordered for me so I reported it for their future customers but they didn’t treat it seriously. The staff don’t really speak good English as it stated on their website. The room quality was relatively similar to the picture on the website but I didn’t get service they offered on their website.

We needed someplace close to the airport for an early morning flight and this hotel was very convenient. They even had a nice swimming pool though it was heated even on a warm July day.

Not a 4 * hotel.. Needs a good clean, dated.
This is not a 4* hotel. Rooms are dated and small. Construction going on the floor above, but I did complain and the noise stopped. They started working again at 7am!!. Should inform guests when booking that renovation work is going on the hotel. The bathroom was covered in hairs and the shower water does not drain away properly.

Worst Hotel I’ve Ever Stayed In
Lyon is terrible. Do not not come to this area or hotel unless you’re forced to. The hotel claims to have a restaurant but serves no food on weekends, except a 10 feet long buffet with two hot dishes for a miserable 25€. There is no food anywhere within 5 miles and there is no transport in that region. The hotel’s heat/radiator does not work and I was alternating between sweating and freezing. It is a 50€ taxi or 30€ Uber to downtown. You cannot find food, basic amenities, or even cigarettes anywhere nearby. The city is dead especially on weekends and this is the WORST hotel I’ve stayed in out of the last one hundred hotels in terms of experience. Avoid this city and avoid this property AT ALL COSTS. French staff tried to help but some of them are not helpful at all. I had a miserable three days and I am looking into writing in for a refund. This hotel is an utter ripoff.

Excellent Hotel I would always recommend
I travel to this area very often and have stayed in many hotels in the region. This is my new number one for the area. The hotel is very different and has an interesting 'theme'. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. My only comment is that it would be more suited to longer stays if they had a slightly wider choice of meals, but this is a very small point!

The hotel is fine albeit a bit odd being based slightly half heartedly on the Great Gatsby. Restaurant was closed when we went so had to have a burger from a van which parks in their car park (good burger though).. Special mention must go to the barmaid who was on a different planet of rude, especially to the English.....all attempts to win her over were greeted with a snarl...She took pleasure in talking about me to a colleague / fellow guest with me standing in front off her...!!....All other staff were excellent, friendly helpful and smiley, so avoid the bar if you stay or pretend to be French..All else in the Hotel was fine, nice pool and everything clean and not tired. Slightly weird to have a 10 pin bowling alley in bar????..Bit noisy to say the least...excepting the misery behind the bar I would recommend as a stopover on way to Alps..

Booked a family room 2 adults and 1 teenager, comfortable beds and had a partition room with sliding door, Loved the outdoor pool, table tennis, games room and ten pin bowling. restaurant was closed for a month but temporary food truck in car park served amazing local burgers. Breakfast also very good and loved the bacon pancakes !

The hotel was nice, but a bit remote in location.
The hotel was nice but located in a remote area more suited to industry clients, as it is surrounded by factory's There was. no where to go out in the evening as most of the places for eating only open work hours for the local factory's. Going into Lyon Centre via taxi is very costly 40 euros and dearer to return. So had to use a local bus and tramway system which took up an hour each way, although the service was regular it was a long way. The room was tiny with just about enough room to get round the bed and Fairley basic considering it was classed as 4 star. The restaurant was pleasant as were the staff, but on one of the evenings it was a buffet set meal costing 25 Euros limited choice, and not expected as it didn't notify us of this and we expected to order from menu. Drink not included in the price. The pool and fitness suite mentioned were tiny, fitness suite had no weights..

The hotel is not near any restaurants and the food choices in the hotel are minimal. The printer did not work to print out boarding passes. On the other hand, the room was clean and a reasonable size.

Right Place , Wrong Time
The place is Deserted and lonely, no place to shop or eat , and have to travel a long way to get to any interesting sites. The buses only run every hour. The hotel staff were very hospitable even though there was a language barrier. The rooms were kept in decent condition and the rest of the hotel was acceptable considering the renovation work was going on and it was very loud and disturbing .

Building works going on directly under my bedroom that started at 9am and knocked off at 5.30pm, this was not notified at the time of booking. The ac in the bedroom did not work. The room was smelly and carpet sticky. Totally unpleasant experience, I couldn't wait to leave
