“Excellent stopover hotel”

Arrived at 9.30 pm. Reception staff friendly and welcoming. Very quick check in. Restaurant dining times explained. Room basic but clean - fine for an overnight stay. Although close to main road no traffic noise through the night.

“Bon Hotel pour escale”

Hôtel situé à proximité de la voie rapide, l'accès est très aisé.C'est un hôtel très pratique pour une escale en route vers le sud. Le petit déjeuner en supplèment est tout à fait correct ( buffet ) quoiqu'il pourrait être un peu moins cher. La chambre est bien équipée mais je m'attendais à avoir un deuxième lit conventionnel et non un lit d'appoint pour y coucher mon petit fils car j'avais réservé un chambre triple. En conclusion, à part ce léger désapointement, je reste satisfait.

“Le bruit de la circulation”

Tout aurait été satisfaisant si l'hôtel n'était pas situé sur une route à haute circulation. Bruit de voitures et camions incessant, y compris la nuit, si l'on a la malchance d'avoir sa chambre du mauvais côté. Gros défaut d'insonorisation extérieure notamment au niveau de la porte (disparition du sas que l'on trouvait dans les anciens campanile et c'est dommage)

“Lost in the city”

I came by car from Geneva and the battery of my GPS just run out. Without that, I didnt know how to get the hotel. I have been lost from 10pm till 1h30am in Lyon and venicity area and didnt realise (on booking time) that BROM was a city. Almost nobody in the streets and the few that I have found didnt know anything about the hotel. After 3h30 and miles and miles I finally arrived. The reception staff was just ok, didnt understend english at all but saw my booking and gave the room keys. So...if you wanna go to Lyon, stay in the city center. Dont ever think - I have a car, distance doesnt matter and Brom is the nearest city from Lyon Airport. Really, does matter. The distance from Lyon - Center and the airport is not that big as looks like (and as I thought). From 20 - 30 pounds more you can find a hotel in the city center. Avoid troubles, stay in the city.
