My husband and I recently stayed at the Kirkley Hotel in Lynchburg and were very pleased with the accommodations. Our room had recently been remodeled and everything was new and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a microwave and refrigerator in the room and the towels and bedding were good quality. Plently of hot water. We will definitely stay there again, when in Lynchburg. They were booked up for the weekend so they must be doing something right.

Very nice...only thing missing was fridge and microwave in room, but I only stayed one night! Daughter was attending CFAW at LU so I met up with her on Sunday am to go on to TRBC and had lunch on LU's campus. Elegant surroundings at very affordable rates!!!!

“A nice get away from home.”

We booked the hotel as a "get away" from home for a night. When we arrived, the lobby was nice, the front desk clerk was nice. We checked in and I had asked the clerk for one of the newly remodeled rooms that I had seen reviews on. She found one on the ground floor. The room was very nice. As the afternoon went on, The hotel became full of high school students due to some type of function in the area. My wife and I, who were trying to get away for a quiet weekend, were between two rooms of high school students..who were already yelling and playing music. It would have not been bad if it wasn't that we were looking for a QUIET weekend. I went to the front desk and requested to be moved. The front desk clerk was very helpful but advised that the hotel was nearly full with high school groups. She looked at different rooms and found one that was not side by side with any of the groups. Overall, it was a nice weekend and they went out of their way to accomodate us. The bar area was really nice and my wife and I had fun dancing. I would stay there again.

I thought all rooms were suites with pull out sofa and amenities. Refrigerators and microwaves were available to rent. I would have preferred it being part of the room. The lobby with pool and restaurant were great.

“Lynchburg's Friendliest - Kirkley”

Staff was helpful and friendly from the moment we walked in. Although we had a lamp not working when we got to our room, they had someone up there and replacing it within minutes. When we needed directions somewhere instead of staff just giving us directions they made an extra effort and printed out directions for us. I have never been to a hotel where the staff - and I mean everyone was so friendly. Thank you Kirkley staff for your wonderful hospitality!
