The hotel stay was as expected, but did not like having to clean the shower before I took a shower it had hair and old soap in the shower and on the toilet. Disappointing when you pay so much for a room in Lynchburg.

We had reservations for 3 people. There were no sheets, towels, or pillows for the 3rd person. When we got the sheets and started to make up the pullout loveseat, the mattress was terribly stained. They still did not bring a pillow or blanket or towels. We did get the towels when we asked for the next morning. The bottom sheet on the main bed was ripped on one corner and would not stay on the mattress. It was a heavy graduation weekend, to be fair.

Easy to find a location off the highway, close to everything. My first AND LAST time at a Microtel! The first room we checked into smelled like urine. The second room was not thoroughly clean and it was poorly lit. We were on the 1st floor and there were no curtain sheers on the window to keep people from looking directly in, so the main curtains had to stay shut during the day. The air conditioning unit was loud and not working properly. Sad breakfast choices and the walls and doors are paper thin. Hotels give you C and D-rated rooms when booking on these sites

We have stayed here a number of times and we love the staff. They are so helpful and professional. We usually arrive late in the evening/early morning and they have our room keys all ready for us. I call ahead to let them know approximately when we will arrive and they are so friendly over the phone.

The hotel was nice, but I had two big issues that are important to me when I stay at a hotel. I like to use the fitness area and I like to have a complimentary breakfast. The fitness. Enter had a weight bench, but no weights. Hmmm! The room was small, but they could fit some weights if they wanted to. Even a couple pairs of adjustable dumbbells would be good. I hate to be harsh about the breakfast, but it was the worst one I’ve ever had at a hotel. They only had waffles, bagels, and cereal. No yogurt or eggs or any kind of protein. The waffle was so bad that my daughter had to throw hers away after one bite. It definitely had a very strange taste. I ate it anyway since that is all there was. I wish we would have just gone out to eat though. I hope the hotel makes a few minor changes and improvements because it was a nice place with friendly staff.

Very basic rooms. 1 fluorescent light for the room; the light switch by the door didn’t turn on a light! Bathroom floor/tile was dirty. Carpets were stained and worn.

I have stayed here many times and as always the check-in went quick and smooth. The front desk staff are always so helpful, courteous, and professional. When I had told the gentleman, his name escapes me that I had been here many times, he said, “welcome home!” That was so nice!

Unfortunately the shower in our room had a handle that only turned from cold to not as cold. It was inconvenient having to change rooms in order to have a hot shower.

We love staying at the Microtel property. The staff met our request for a certain floor . Always clean! Only concern we had were , new direct tv remotes that didn’t work properly and tub drain had a problem draining.

Steve, the evening receptionist, was exceptionally helpful in helping me print a letter. However, in the morning the breakfast set up was a mess. No cups for coffee, drinking milk, yogurt, butter, creme cheese. It looks like they were out of food by 9:10 or had cleared everything away. They were suppse to be open until 10 am!

I've stayed in other Microtel properties but this one didn't quite match up. Of the 3 pieces of equipment in the fitness center (elliptical, treadmill, and bike), only the bike was working. The 24-hour coffee station in the lobby was poorly maintained. Two of the electrical outlets in my room did not work. The water pressure from the shower was weak. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. The staff was friendly and professional. I would stay there again because the staff and the location were excellent.

Attended Liberty College for a Weekend, so I am sure the rates were increased. For the amount of $ I spent, there was 0 service. They do not clean rooms, dump trash, or replenish towels. It is essentially “self serve.” The “reason” they don’t do anything other than turn on the lights is “because of Covid.”Do not stay here.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. Beds were comfortable. We were really disappointed by the fitness center. There were just 4 machines - two stationary bikes, a treadmill, and an elliptical. Both the treadmill and elliptical were broken and did not work at all. Also, the breakfast was pretty bare bones - some cereal, a waffle maker, oatmeal, breakfast bars, and apples. Plus coffee, tea, juice, and milk. The staff was very friendly.
