The hotel environment on the Nile River is beautiful. Unfortunately we did not have the best experience starting with our check-in as the staff were disorganized, and simply did not listen. We had to change rooms as our first room smelt like paint, our upgraded room had a leaking tub. We notified the front desk, they didn’t seem to care about our experience or the fact that the water was leaking everywhere. The hotel could benefit from proper customer service training for the front desk staff as it really sets the tone for the whole stay.

After days of seeing Temples and Tombs in the blazing sun and temperatures over 110 degrees, arriving at the Jolie Ville was like an oasis in the desert. The property is beautiful, quiet and away from the busy life of Cairo, Aswan and Luxor. We loved the place and would go back again for sure. One member of the front desk staff was especially helpful, a young woman named Nermeen Adel.

Our experience was great. Wonderful staff, food accommodations and the pools were amazing! The spa treatment was a bit of a disappointment… my sister had lash extensions that were very long and thick… in fact a bit comical looking, some the glue was applied thickly and scratched her eye. The technician quickly removed the excess glue, but my sister was in pain for several hours. She will have the lashes removed immediately upon arriving back home.

My bathroom tub was clearly dirty. The furniture, bedding, etc. in the room is clearly old and not all clean either. The landscaping of the resort is not kept up at all.The only nice thing about this place is the buffet -- serves excellent dinners for a great price. The hotel lobby is clean also, and the lobby/restaurants provide a beautiful view of the Nile. Overall, I would not recommend at all. Yes it is is a low price, but it's not even worth the price in my opinion. Just stay at a hotel.

Beautiful place, rooms in new sector clean and comfortable. 3 magnificent pools. A dream. Only problem is the very slow service in the restaurant. We waited 40 min for a drink and more than 1 hour for our dish.

What a lovely place to stay for a relaxing vacation! The pools are all amazing and clean. Check in and check out we’re fast and efficient. The staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable and take care of you. We had a problem with our air conditioner and they moved us to an upgraded room with no hassle. Breakfast buffet is great with a ton of options! The views are lovely. Not complaints but some observations: They don’t have many options to refill water bottles which means lots of plastic. The zoo is depressing…animals in small enclosures that are basically just dirt.

The gardens are lovely, the staff too. Love the original rooms e.g. Block O but they really do need updating. We’ve been visiting this hotel for more than 29 years so we obviously like it! The shuttle bus service to the city is now very poor and the fixed price of a taxi is huge by Egyptian standards.

This hotel is simply amazing, the staff, the weather, and the structure of the facility were all really good. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and quick. The facility was very relaxing and a walk around the greenery was very relaxing. The only downside was the fact that I was not offered an upgrade based on Gold status and the rooms were missing stuff such as slippers and covers

Jolie Ville was fantastic. The location and the facilities are beautiful and well maintained. It is so quiet and peaceful. The staff truly shines and made our stay wonderful. The room was big and bed very comfortable. Food was good, buffet style and good selection. There's a free shuttle to town at night (5pm and 9pm) which was very useful. Boat tour also available and many other activities. The only downside is the terrible overuse of plastic. Each single towel was wrapped individually and replaced in the bathroom every day. Utensils were also wrapped in plastic bags at the restaurant. Way too much plastic, so bad for the environment. But definitely recommend the calm, beautiful and hospitable Jolie Ville for any stay in Luxor. We will be back!!

Excellent hotel!
The property is clean and modern, with nice rooms. The service is excellent and the staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The buffet is delicious. Highly recommended!

My only regret is that we only had time to stay in this hotel for one night. We flew into Luxor for one day as a spur of the whim trip during our Egyptian vacation. The resort is beautiful and really the pictures don’t do it justice. The staff (especially Goma in the bar) were extremely friendly and attentive. Goma gave us a delicious welcome drink made from hibiscus flowers and when he realized how much I liked it, he was kind enough to give me some to take with me, he also suggested the best cheesecake I’ve ever tasted so please do try it should you visit. We really felt welcomed and right at home. Unfortunately we didn’t get to take a dip in any of the three pools, but they looked immaculately kept and very clean. The room was nice and spacious, and the beds were quite relaxing! Breakfast was delicious and again the morning staff was so very kind. We have already decided our next trip to Egypt we will be flying straight to Luxor and of course staying at this wonderful resort.

AMAZING FEW NIGHTS
We had a great stay, the kids loved it, the views were lovely, the staff were friendly and so helpful. Especially the gardeners who carried our bags over the wet grass so we didn’t get wet. We will defiantly be back later in the year! Would recommend to anyone the sun set and pool views were great!
