Very well located with nice views of the street and castle. Restaurant/ breakfast was very good. The only down side was that our room was on the first floor and we could hear all the noise from the restaurant at night and in the early hours.

Comfortable stay in Vianden
Very comfortable room. Great location in Vianden. By Luxembourg standards - it's an incredibly expensive country - good value.

Outstanding for my dietary needs.
We had such a lovely stay and the staff bent over backwards to make our stay that way. In particular, I have such difficult dietary restrictions and the kitchen staff were able to adapt the menu to suit my needs, even going off-menu to feed me. The room was immaculate, the bed extremely comfortable and the views were stunning. We will definitely be returning again.

This hotel overlooks the river and has a decent buffet breakfast. The pub downstairs looks good but I didn’t get the chance to eat there as I was o oh there for one night. Lots walks near by and the town is sleepy but charming.

The view was beautiful and the location is perfect. I had a room looking onto the river and I could see the castle to the side. The only complaint I have is the bathroom wasn’t super clean. I was also in a non-smoking room but it smelled like an ash tray when I walked in. Otherwise the hotel was a good place to stay.

Grammar location - lacking facilities
Lovely hotel but amenities are not what is shown in description - there is no on site parking - parking is on the street (if you can find it) or at the covered carpark which is very expensive. The description states it has self laundry provision which it doesn’t and on the last morning there was no hot water for the shower in both rooms and the towels are so old…..on the positive the breakfast and evening meals were nice and the waiting staff very friendly - great location

Warning: not all rooms have air conditioning! We booked the room when it was hot because it said they have air conditioning. Then we get to the hotel and find out that only certain rooms do and they’re all already occupied. Expedia reached out on our behalf and they refused to do anything about it. On the plus side, the location is wonderful.

We arrived on a Wednesday when the bar and restaurant were closed. It would have been nice ro have access to some brochures in the lobby for information on the area, and perhaps some bottled water in the room.

Good hotel which is relatively cheap by Luxembourg standards; Helpful staff - I lost my charger and reception was helpful in suggestions for getting replacements lent my a charger. Evening meal enjoyable with great views.

Quaint little old-school European hotel located in the heart of a picturesque village... right above a main intersection where traffic stops all day and into the night, making it very noisy. Central to all the major attractions of Vianden, and the restaurant has a good menu. Breakfast was a typically European spread and OK value at 10€. Free parking in a small deck very close by. The hard-working bar/restaurant staff deserve big tips!

My amazing weekend
My stay at the hotel was amazing. Perfect location. The staff is wonderful, very friendly, an helpful even dough i speak only English. The food, draft beer and service at the Victor Hugo restaurant were excelent. My room was very clean and sanitized. They even sanitize the menu book and the tables at the restaurant. Thank you all who made my weekend amazing. Keep up the very good work!

The staff at this hotel were cheerful and attentive. We had a delicious dinner in their restaurant and good breakfast the next morning. Lovely quaint atmosphere, great location. Excellent value. Would highly recommend.

Excellently located hotel in the heart of Vianden
Excellently located hotel, around a 15 minute walk to Vianden castle. Unfortunately the hotel experienced a problem with the hot water on the morning of check out (not great in the middle of winter!), but we appreciate the efforts of the hotel to resolve this.

Perfect location overlooking the Our River.
Delicious food at the restaurant downstairs, as well as many others within a block or so. The castle is just a little hike up the hill and is worth spending a couple of hours touring. I’m so glad we skipped Paris and stayed here instead. Very romantic town.

The hotel staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Our flight was delayed and the hotel staff made it really easy for us to check in. The room and the sauna was a very clean and lovely. Only thing is with no fault of the hotel there was a storm which meant there was no WiFi and tv for the majority of our stay. The area of Vianden is very picturesque and beautiful would definitely go back!

Great location and view!
The hotel was located in a beautiful area of town right next to the river. The staff answered my emails very quickly and addressed my concerns. The access to the chateau was good too although uphill if you don't have a car. The room was amazing very large/clean and even had a view from the bathroom.

No wifi, no river view, loose safe, insufficient lights. We had booked and paid for a deluxe room with river view, when asking fornthis we were moved to a room even further away from the river. The automatic light in the toilet and in the bathroom turned of while being used. The safe was just placed loosed in the closet. No air conditioning or heating. The control unit on the wall did not work.

Loved the place. It's a three star, so no aircon in the room or designer bathroom etc, but for the money I'm pleased and say that without feeling I compromised on anything.

Not quite as lovely inside as outside....
Got off to a bad start when I was charged EUR30 extra for a second bed in the room (which was advertised as sleeping 3, and showed two beds in the photos - the second bed was already there). Room itself was somewhat tired. Half of the folding shower screen was missing, so water from the shower went everywhere. Room did overlook a courtyard garden, but mostly a building site (and they start early - around 8am). Towels were rough - rough enough to open up a cut on my leg! WiFi in the room was very slow. And I'm afraid the cupboard door was just too wonky for me! Nothing major, but equally nothing too special. On the plus side, the hotel is smack bang in the middle of town, has a separate parking garage (free parking for guests), and breakfast is good value (at EUR8 per person).

Nice little place
We enjoyed our stay. It was me and my adult son, so having a double twin room was perfect. Nice place, nice people. Had a bit of a hard time though. The front desk didn't want to give us the Hotels.com rate until I said "ok then, I'll just book it online". After that, all was cool, as I did book it online.
