“On the way south”

This was a good place to stop on the way south. Access was easy and the breakfast was adaquate. the room was fairly clean and the guests were quiet. There was water damage on the ceiling. The grounds were attractive and the staff were polite and kind.

when arriving in New Market Days inn first thing I notice was the veiw.. WOW! At check in the people were friendly and helpfull...The room was clean and the pool was well needed. Outside my room was the best plum tree with the sweetest plums ,that was a bonus..Right next to the hotel was the New Market battel feild witch was very interresting to me also the hotel is well located to many smaller towns around that area that i found to be interesting as well..So i would suggest to you all if you want to take a trip to Virginia and see the caverins stay at the New Market Days inn you cant go wrong..oh yea if you do try the italian job .Good pizza

“Good price, decent hotel”

Good price, safe location, friendly staff, really convenient to I 81, food nearby.

“Days Inn”

The hotel was under some construction but that didn't bother us. What did bother us was the room itself. Wallpaper pealing off the wall, the bed was very bad. Mattress needs to be replaced. Shower took almost an hour to provide hot water.

“Decent for the money”

Decent enough place given the town. Located in a small town, so not a huge amount of places to select from. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms. All a bit out of date, but it's only a hotel. It was nice having access to a computer with internet connection in the lobby.

“Pleasant motel with a good view”

They are remodeling so it gets better every time. The view from the front is worth the price of admission. I have stayed at the over hotels in town and the price is higher for the same or less in category that you would care about.

“What happened?”

We stayed at this hotel about 6 months ago and were completely satisfied with all aspects of the facility. This visit was a disappointment on several levels. The electric outlet at the vanity did not work properly - it kept tripping when the hair dryer was in use and was almost impossible to reset. The carpet was filthy around the edges of the room. The quality of the continental breakfast was not as good as the previous visit.

“Good for the Price”

If you're looking for a 5 star hotel, this is probably not the place for you. We went down for a weekend to see Luray Caverns and other attractions, and it was fine. The rooms were clean. Our fridge was broken and the TV speakers had problems - but we didn't spend much time in the room so that didn't matter. Their breakfast hours are terrible.

Its good for a days stay. I liked the complimentary continental breakfast provided.
