“Quiet, clean, convenient location.”

Very comfortable beds, clean rooms. Just a two story, so everything was easy to find. Surrounded by fields, but close enough to highway for easy access, but far enough away to be quiet. New restaurant and bar next door. Mississippi River right over the levee, so could walk along that and watch boats and birds for quiet entertainment.

we liked being in the area lots we didnt get to see but who ever sees everything you always run out of time area around hotel was nice

“Great stay for the price!”

When we showed up our room wasn't ready and that seemed to be the theme of the day (overheard other guests that had the same problem). Other than that everything was great. Room was comfortable, breakfast was good, and we loved that there was a washer and dryer available for guests to use (had to pay but expected as much).

“Hotel was fine but....”

Came to town because of the Jazz festival and a Carnival cruise. Everything was fine at the hotel except the swimming pool. It was loaded with algae so no none went in. Make sure if you go you RENT A CAR. The taxi fees from Luling to New Orleans was anywhere from $100 to $150 ONE WAY. We called Enterprise and were able to get a rental car for less than $50\day. Remember, EVERYTHING is closed on Sunday's including rental car places so plan accordingly. Luling is pretty boring, but the hotel was fine.

“Two college girls traveling to New Orleans”

My friend and I are college students and we stayed at this hotel prior to our cruise leaving from New Orleans. It's an easy 35 minute drive away from the port. Previous reviews complained of pet smells, but I noticed a "No Pets" sign is posted now. We went a few miles down the road for a bite to eat at a new burger place the receptionist suggested (we liked it!). The area around the burger place was a little run-down, but we were there in the daylight and the restaurant was right off of the main road. We took a chance picking this hotel because we had never been down there before, and overall we were happy with it. It is also right off of the highway which made our parents feel better. I rated the "comfort of your room" low because of the humidity. It just made me feel sticky, even with the A/C on. But, it was just fine for one night. I would stay here again.

“We won't come back.”

We won't come back. One bed hadn't been changed after the previous guest and when we notified the desk, we were told that the cleaning staff were gone home. The desk sent a security man with clean sheets and we were told to make the bed ourselves. General cleanliness of the room was poor.

“never again”

the hotel was very run down and dirty. would not stay again. the work out room was a total wreck. not one of the work out equipment even worked.it is in the middle of nothing.
