“Nice one but little expensive”

Hotel is ok...Room conditions and service is good. Breakfast is same everyday, if they change breakfast little everyday that would be great. Moreover it is price per night is little high for this kind of hotel.

“close to Tech”

If you want a room walking distance to the Texas Tech stadium. It's a decent choice. Nothing fancy, they do allow dogs in rooms so of course they smell a little like covered up dog urine. I rented 4 room and one guest didn't show, but they would not refund my money when contacted by expedia.

“basic”

First thing I would like to say is every staff member I came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. However, the first room we had, was not in the best condition. There was a whole in the wall in the bathroom and the shower did not work. It took my daughter 1 hour to rinse the shampoo out of her hair since there was a trickle a water in which to shower with. We then had to pack everything back up and move rooms. The second room was very clean and the shower worked well. The ice machines did not work on any of the floors you had to go to the office to get ice.

“Good hotel for the price”

This hotel is what should be expected for the price. The beds weren't as soft as I would have liked. The hotel was clean but had a strange smell, probably just an old building smell. Service was ok, I didn't get clean sheets the second night I stayed there I just Got my bed made.

“Close to Texas Tech but...”

We pretty much got what we paid for and what we expected - very average hotel, small space, beds were kind of lopsided. When we entered the room, there were 6 flies in our room that we spent time killing/chasing out! The employees were great. The breakfast was average. It is close to Texas Tech and easy to find - if you just need a place to stay, I can recommend it but keep your expectations on the lower side.

“Clean and reasonably priced...best for quick stays.”

The hotel was clean and it was priced very reasonably for the services provided. The street noise was constant and the room was simple. The breakfast was waffles, cereal, bagels, donuts, or toast with coffee, juice and milk. Not much selection, but what they had was good and fresh. They had irons at the front desk. I wouldn't recommend the hotel for leisure stays, but if you just need a place to stay for a night or to simply sleep this hotel will work.

“Convenient hotel in Lubbock”

My 2 day stay in Lubbock was okay at Days Inn. The room was clean, but there was a need for some minor repair. The hotel itself was clean. I did not like the fact that the room doors opened out onto the parking lot, so the noise was a problem.

“Adequate Hotel”

This was an adequate hotel. It fit my needs for a weekend stay in Lubbock when I wasn't planning on spending much time at a hotel, just needing a place to sleep.

“Keep Looking”

For the price, I would not recomend this hotel. It is convienient to the Texas Tech Campus and Jones Stadium and you pay for the location even when school is out of session. The area surrounding the hotel is underconstruction and the hotel is now one of the older building in the area the it shows. The doors do not work, the plumbing it terrible and the hotels condition is bad. In my opinion, the hotel should have been torn down with the surrounding buildings.

“days inn review”

would have preferred more cleanliness to the elevator area, chair in room had food residue caked on it, tub only allowed for shower. Basic comfort overlooking these items, and of course, very close to Texas Tech and convenient on/off freeway.
