Nice hotel only one minor niggle
Nice hotel, good food and service throughout. Enjoyed the food at the pool bar and Italian restaurant as well as continental breakfast. The only let down was internet didn’t work on my floor but did for others a few floors below (I was on 14) and when I asked they just said it should work but it wasn’t even showing!

Best hotel in the City
All staff were lovely and friendly and very welcoming and ensured my stay was enjoyed. The rooms are very nice and comfortable and the Breakfast was very satisfying along with the team who were always looking out for you and helping out where necessary. Decent WIFI and a good clean hotel which I reckon is the best within the city.

Food and drink rates are ridiculously expensive. They have a captive audience I guess. The hotel is very nice, the pools are very nice, but $15 for a liter of water?!?

The Front Desk staff were consistently helpful and professional. They are to be commended The doormen were consistently rude and unhelpful. I stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions in the past 8 days, and the doorman didn’t offer to help me with my very heavy luggage. In addition, they kept asking my driver to remove the vehicle before he was finished helping me unload the luggage. I only ate at the restaurant once, and the staff didn’t render the level of service you would expect to match the extremely high prices.

Lovely hotel in centre of Luanda
This is rated as a 5 star hotel. Not sure if it rates this highly but it is certainly a good 4 star hotel even with European and North American standards. Very pricey but so is all of Luanda.

Epic Sana, Probably look for alternative
It is a modern business hotel in the heart of Luanda. It is not really a 5 star hotel ss the staff lacks basic training, but with some patience it works. The are unable to assist you with taxi to airport and ither needs outside the basic hotel routines. It is very very expensive, but that is Luanda. Overall a good experience, but it costs.

Comfortable and nice stay. According to other African hotels: I can say that Epic Sana is wonderful. But it is not like an 4 - 5 star hotel in Europa. Luanda is a risky city. Because of that hotel location is very important. The location of Epic Sana is very safe. Highly recommended.

Probably the best in the center of Luanda
Based on Angola's standard it is great hotel and reasonably priced. I pay USD 490 with Wi-Fi and breakfast included. For Western standards it is good quality 3 star hotel so price is way too high ... like most of the things in Luanda. Nothing special and it was no way better compare to Hilton in Abu Dhabi just few week ago for about USD 100 WITHOUT Wi-Fi but with much better breakfast option, nicer and cleaner room and better service (much better I would say). Anyway I do not think you would find better deal for that part of Luanda (it was close to the Ministry I visited). Traffic in Luanda is horrible but you need to coup with it. Plan your trip to airport ahead with extra time added. For a trip that Google Map estimated as ~15 minutes it actually took 1 hour 45 minutes and local counterpart rated as not so bad ... Good luck.

Epic Sana - Luanda Business
An extremely comfortable business hotel with good facilities. Not all the restaurants were open as the hotel was quite new. Indoor and outdoor pools are a nice addition but a little small for serious swimmers. Silly things like no bottle opener in the room for the wine and beer bottles spoil it a bit. There are no taxis as such in Luanda but I undertand that hotels such as the Tropico have driver services set up. At the Epic you seem to rely on the concierges friend to come and get you and its not cheap. Good hotel location for local oil offices. All the staff friendly and as helpful as they can be. Breakfast great, my one evening meal very disappointing. Overall it is like staying in a good European Business hotel.

Best hotel in Luanda. Very expensive, but so is everything in this town. Hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. Any issue I had they took care of right away. The beds are a little to firm for my tastes, but the rooms are spacious and clean. The Italian restaurant is exceptional. Large wine list and a menu that satisfies. The only place I will stay in Luanda.

800$ plus a night?! We got charged extra 800$ On top of the 800$ per night Just because they checked us In when we got there (11am) So price came to 1600$ A night. No warning just charged us Under early check in!!! Mind you,this is at best a Days inn class hotel.

Surprises during the stay at Epic Sana, Luanda
I took advantage of the Hotel Driver presence at the airport to reach the Hotel, but he did not tell me that the cost was 165 US$ for the 10mn / 8km ride... Then during the stay they tried to poison us with rotten food... Besides that, the room is normal, clean and the staff is nice.
