“Droghedas best Hotel”

I have stayed in Drogheda many times over the past years due to work commitments in different hotels and The Boyne Valley Hotel is by far the best, great rooms with fantastic views,superbly prepared and presented food at very very reasonable prices. The friendly and warm reception I received as soon as I walked in the hotel was carried on by all the staff throughout my stay,the service was second to none. I spend most nights in hotels due to my work travel and I can honestly say this hotel has got to be one of the very best. A REAL PLEASURE

“Home - from - Home”

Home - to - Home The Boyne Valley Country Club is 'Home to Home' for me. The staff are very friendly and efecient. The grounds are superbly kept and the beautiful spreading tree outside my room window is always a delight.

“Clean, comfortable hotel, in lovely setting, with good food.”

A pleasant country house style hotel, with spacious grounds, clean and comfortable rooms, good food, albeit with fairly limited menu plus a super health club/spa/swimming facility almost next door. Very good overall value.

“Average hotel”

The beds were not very comfortable, the rug and furniture were stained. It was convenient to many of the areas we wanted to visit in Ireland.

“Battle of the Boyne”

The hotel was sufficient but the elevator did not work and luggage had to be carried up and down several flights of stairs. I could understand a temporary problem with the elevator but it had apparently been non-functional for several days. Breakfast was below average from other hotels in Ireland.

Obviously run-down and in need of refurbishment. Poor quality toilet paper, limited toiletries.
