“Never Again!!”

The corridor was dark and dingy. The room, although it appeared clean, was extremely smelly, a combination of cigarette smoke and unwashed body smell. Instead of pillows, a bolster was provided which were stained and had no cover at all and only wrapped in the bed sheet. Our room was not cleaned on the first day. The cleaner came at 8:30 when we were still getting ready and never came back. When we complained about it, we were told that all cleaners had gone home and no alternative room was available. We were offered complementary breakfast as compensation. We did not take the complementary breakfast but found when we checked out that we were charged and although the cost of the breakfast was deducted, the total amount was still more than the amount without breakfast. The bathroom had a bath with overhead shower attachment but no shower curtain which meant the floor was completely wet after shower. The only mirror was in the bathroom which cannot be used when someone is using the shower or bath as it becomes steamed up. There was no parking spaces in the hotel available when we arrived, all cordoned off, reserved for other guests! The only plus point was that the staff were friendly.
