“Only 5 minutes to the Grotto”
Newly refurbished this aparthotel was ideal for our few days in Lourdes. Fully lifted if you are less mobile and spotlessly clean. Crockery, cutlery, pots and a coffee maker provided.
“Lourdes Pilgrimage”
We came to see the lady. Loved how close it was to the shrine, loved the fact that there's a real kitchen!
“brill”
excellent choice for pilgrims
“Super, rien à dire”
Nous avons été très bien acceuilli et la chambre était spacieuse et très propre. Kitchenette équipée permettant de préparer ses plats... Par contre: petit bémol: le fait que la réception ferme entre 12h et 14h mais rien de gravissime, un numéro est prévu encas d'urgence. Petit déjeuner excellent.. nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
“Citea - great value for money in Lourdes”
Steff very helpful (and speak English). Very clean rooms, my room (I think most) had a tiny kitchenette - I do mean tiny, but at least there was a sink and dishes/cutlery, so you could make food rather than be limited to eateries. Highly recommend the hotel. Only wrinkle is that the staff goes to bed at 9pm, but your key has a code to let you in if you are late - tres quaint!
“Great Hotel, Great Value”
I booked this hotel with trepidation since it is only a 2-star hotel (on Expedia anyway and the larger, more luxurious hotels were closed for the off season). I am so glad that I did! The room was immaculately clean and very spacious (which was such a pleasant surprise after staying at a 4-star Paris hotel for almost 3X the money and 1/3 of the space). We didn't use the kitchenette since we were only there overnight - but it was nice and clean, with a microwave and little refrigerator in addition to a little stove (they also provide the dishes, a couple of pots and the silverware). The bathroom was roomy and also very clean. The heater in our room was a welcome relief after coming in from the coldness of Lourdes at this time of year. It is true that the front desk closes from 12-2 pm and then at 6pm for the rest of the night, but they do provide you with a code for the front door and a number for emergency use only. That was a little inconvenient, but for the price we paid - it was totally acceptable. I specifically requested a room with a view of the river and am so pleased with the room we got. It was literally 4-5 minute leisurely walk to the Grotto, surrounded by shops and little cafes. Our visit was too short and I do plan to go back someday. I will definitely book this hotel the next time I am fortunate to travel to Lourdes again.
“If you are doing a pilgrimage to Lourdes, stay here!”
Small, but nice. The staff is excellent, and all at the desk speak English. Very accommodating. Kitchenette saved us LOTS (food is high in France) of money, and there is a market within walking distance. 5-10 minute walk to the Grotto and Basilicas. Everything was as promised and advertised. No hidden fees or charges. There is a washer/dryer in the basement. 5 Euros to do a load. The staff is great with directions and will draw you a map. Can't give it more praise.
“Very Good deal for your $$”
The hotel is clean and very comfortable. It is accessible to all the restaurants, shops and shrine.
