“Good Price”

Before everything else, the name of the hotel is Comfort Suites, could have saved us a lot of trouble if we knew before hand because the locals didn't know what we were talking about when we showed Antipodes on our printout. This hotel has good price relative to others. It has very small kitchenette with electric stove and microwave (no dishwasher) and they require you to clean the dishes before you leave or you get extra charge (there was no sponge or dish soap). There is a separate bedroom to the dining room but it is still pretty small. There were 3 of us and 2 of us shared the bedroom and one slept on the futon couch. The hotel is clean and the receptionists were helpful and were fluent in English. Contrary to the posted hours in expedia, the reception hours are between 7am-10pm. The hotel is walking distance to everything but if you are carrying more than one bag or are not using a rolling bag, better to take the taxi and pay 10euro because it is easy to get lost and there are steep hills to go up and down to and from the train station. There are plenty of selection of restaurants nearby but everything is closed by 10pm.

“If you are doing a pilgrimage to Lourdes, stay here!”

Small, but nice. The staff is excellent, and all at the desk speak English. Very accommodating. Kitchenette saved us LOTS (food is high in France) of money, and there is a market within walking distance. 5-10 minute walk to the Grotto and Basilicas. Everything was as promised and advertised. No hidden fees or charges. There is a washer/dryer in the basement. 5 Euros to do a load. The staff is great with directions and will draw you a map. Can't give it more praise.

This hotel has a great location. The staff isn't the friendliest but they are professional, helpful, and speak English. If you are going to Lourdes and don't plan to spend a lot of time in the hotel this is a good pick.

“One of the best in Lourdes”

Had a wonderful stay at the Citea St. Jean in early June 2009. The location was within a 10 minute walk to the Grotto. The room was spacious and clean. It was already hot in Lourdes when I went so I really appreciated the AC in the hotel room. I would stay here again.
