This property is filthy, it is dirty and unsanitary, there was debris all over the floor and especially in the shower and under the bed. But the front desk guy was nice.

This room was the WORST I have ever stayed in. It’s nasty and I have pictures. It’s worse than a h**ker hotel. Front office closed at 7 pm. Now when I checked in a little after 6 pm it would have been nice if they told you that. No clock no phone no dishes in a room with a kitchenette.

This place was foul. I booked it last second so of course I got screwed out of almost $400 booking with Expedia. First I get a room that the key card won’t work. After back and forth on that (which staff was nice during), we get another room and not even five minutes later, a roach crawls on the wall. Then the pillow. We immediately start gathering our stuff and I see several baby roaches on the wall. I did my research before booking so I felt confident I wouldn’t have an experience like this. The lady at the desk was rude to my partner and it felt discriminatory due to him being heavily tattooed- i wasn’t treated that way like he was. We got screwed out of almost $400 AND our $50 deposit that we weren’t told about for no reason. I’m very upset and I will never book with Expedia again or anything involving red roof. Red Roof properties are nothing but roach infested flop beds for junkies and trash. -1000/10.

Upon entering the room we were greeted with a musty stench. The doors were ripped off the cupboards, there were roaches crawling around and roach traps all over the place. Sheets were dirty (hair, stains, etc.) and there were bed bugs. Found one in the bed and a couple crawling on the table. Dirt and filth everywhere, there was even a squished bug on the wall. Manager was kind enough to give us a different room, however there were still remnants of bed bugs and seedy men were leering at us as we walked to our room. We left immediately and asked for a refund.

I reserved this hotel room through Expedia and payed when I arrived in Louisville Ky from Virginia 10 hr drive. Tired I paid, went to the first room and it smelled like an ashtray mind you it is a non smoking facility. Second room. The door was broken and could not open. Third room that they said was there best room had ROACHES everywhere! Bathroom disgusting bed covers had holes in it from cigarette burns incense sticks hanging from the shower curtain door had a gap so cold air continued to go in. Woke up the next morning packed my things and asked for a refund. I paid 298. I was told I’d receive 187 back….. I have pictures and proof from Expedia that they also seen the pictures and tried to call the office but no one answered. The woman who I checked out with didn’t even apologize. I had to stay with a relative on their couch for a couple of nights until I could find another one. I am absolutely disgusted and grossed by this situation.

Roaches in all the rooms i was shown, first room had holes in the wall and bathroom door, lock for the main door was inoperable without the maintenance man opening the door. Roaches in and around the refrigerator, stovetop, and cabinets. First room wasn't clean and had broken light fixtures.

They cancelled our reservation 10 min before check in time and left us SOL. We got a different hotel for the night and went back in the morning and the staff informed us that even though we had a confirmed reservation they never actually booked a room for us and there was nothing they could do to help us and we had to find somewhere else to stay. This was a reservation for a week so it really screwed us.

The Keycard didn’t work and the maintenance guy told me to put the door plug whenever there is a need for me to go out. There were roaches in the restroom and they even crawled on the mattress when I was sleeping which was unsafe for a person. I expect a refund for my stay which was terrible

First of all front desk opened at 11am and closed at 7pm so if you are going to be late it is hard to check in. When we got into our room on the 3rd floor (elevator broken) we turned on the lights to see roaches all over the place worse in the bathroom. We let the front desk know in the morning and they came in and sprayed the room, but it didn't help, every other place we looked into was booked up because of the event we were attending so we had to stay here. We ended up keeping all our things in the car so as not to bring home any roaches. Not even an option of staying here ever again.

I checked in, went to my room, looked around, opened the sink cabinet and roaches were having a field day. Asked for another room. Went to look at that one. Same problem. I went back to the front desk and canceled my 5 day stay. The hotel promptly refunded my money. The one positive was rhe exceptional person at the front desk.
