“Home away from home!”
This hotel provided many things that I needed to function as if I were at home. Such amenities as the exercise room, a pool long enough to do my laps effectively, laundry machines for my use, HD television, convenient parking, 5 minutes to freeway and close proximity to stores and services. The employees were very accomodating and helpful. When I return to Louisville I will definitely stay here.
“Impressed”
We arrived and got into our room immediately. The toilet was running so I informed the front desk before we went to our concert . It was fixed by the time we returned that evening. Our room opened onto the indoor pool which was used by the kids. Everything was top notch.
“Great deal”
I have stayed in the general vicinity of this hotel several times over the past few years. It compares favorably to the more expensive venues and is a real bargain. I will return.
“great hotel and location”
The hotel was very nice and is great when you have family coming to visit because there is plenty of room to visit around the pool area. I would definately be back.
“Exceptional Staff”
The staff at this Ramada was exceptionally helpful right from the start. I was visiting Louisville for an expo and they allowed me to use the shuttle (meant for the airport) to drop and pick me up from the expo facility, saving me quite some money in terms of taxi/ cab fare. The hotel is slightly dated, but overall the stay was good, the room was clean and comfortable.
“Good Hospitality”
The hotel was nice. The staff always greeted me with a smile and the Tazzo Mia breakfast place was great! I happened to be there during the NCAA regionals and thought I would be bombarded with loud noise but it was quiet in my room. I enjoyed the access to the freeway and major roads also the choice of restaurants and a pharmacy nearby was great . I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends
“Great Price ~ Centrally Located!”
Stayed two nights while we attended the Truck Show! The hotel has been all remodeled. Excellent price through Expedia! Great Location and lots of food choices close by. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!! I will probably stay there again when I go to Louisville.

“Great rate for a good hotel”
After reading some of the negative reviews I was a little concerned but, since I had opted to use the Expedia unpublished rates program I was committed to the hotel. The rate I recieved was terrific. I think the hotel has remodeled since some of the earlier reviews. We stayed 2 nights, Fri. & Sat. the only complaint we had was that on Sat. night there was a party in their convention center. This is a separate building on the very back side of the hotel. Our room on the second floor faced that building. The music was so loud it shook our windows. When we investigated and questioned the front desk, about 10pm, they said the party could go on till 3am. They moved us to a different room, on the side of the building further away from the music which solved the problem. My advice If you get a room on the very back of the building find out if their convention center room is booked and have them change your room assignment. There are also a great number of resturants near by and a large shopping mall 1 exit away on Interstate 64.
“No Complaints”
Spent four nights at the Ramada while attending the Breeders Cup. Didn't spend much time in the room except to sleep and shower, and chill a little after a long day at the track. Room was fine, loved having a microwave and a little fridge for drinks and leftovers. Bed was fine, had a small sofa to sit on. Bathroom was a little dated, low toilet which isn't great for someone who is 6'3". Bathrooms are probably next to be updated in the hotel. Next to an interstate, but traffic noise was no problem. Easy on and off access to the interstate taking me to Churchill Downs and other areas of Louisville I frequent. Got a great deal of 30% off per nt. thru Expedia, was pleased with the choice and the discount.
