“Well Managed Hotel”
I stayed at the Jameson during a trade show trip in Oct '09. This was my first stay at Jameson, and I was suitably impressed with the quality of the rooms, the common areas and the cleanliness. To put it succinctly, the Hotel was spotlessly clean in every area I saw. The rooms were comfortable (but not plush), the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I would return at the drop of a hat.
“good motel”
good motel, good breakfast, nice big clean comfortable rooms
“Nice visit in Louisville”
The hotel was very nice and clean - the pool was currently going through serving/cleaning so that was a little disappointing. It was very close to cozy restaurants - and right off the highway. I would stay there again! I liked having the access to the outside via our room and not having to go through the lobby every time.
“interesting system”
The desk clerk neglected to give me the pool code for the door. When she finally did, it only worked part of the time. The front desk personnel had to come play with the door every time.
“Great room! Disappointed in breakfast and pool/sauna closure!”
The Staff and room were outstanding, much like your high end chains! Room was quiet and comfortable and was perfectly located along the Interstate which we were travelling. The only two negative factors was the limited items for the Continental Breakfast and the fact the pool and sauna were both closed for our nights stay.
“Good Night's Stay”
Good Price, very clean, We just needed a night's stay with an indoor pool. Hot tub was fantastic.
“Staff was very friendly and pleasant”
Overall very nice. Staff was helpful. And friendly. Would stay again .
“Jameson Inn off Blankenbaker”
The room was clean and spacious. My children and I appreciated that the room had a refrigerator and microwave. The pool was a little too cool for comfort and we never could figure out where the hot tub controls were to turn the jets on. We were able to get extra tools at the front desk with no hassle. The breakfast was very nice and included belgian waffles. Our biggest complaint would come not from the Inn itself, but the other guests. There was some type of Baptist church convention going on and the group associated with them was LOUD. Children were running up and down the halls all through the night screaming and laughing. The adults stood in the hallways well past 11:30pm talking. They did quiet down when I came out of my room and told them my children were having trouble sleeping for all the noise.
“Mediocre Hotel”
My overall experience was marred by the fact that my "non-smoking" room smelled of smoke. When I brought this to the attention of the night staff upon check-in, she insisted that it was a non-smoking room although there was an ashtray in it. The hotel was full and they could not swap rooms during my 2-night stay. Otherwise, it wasn't too far off from my expectations because you generally get what you pay for. The breakfast was OK and 1 out of the 2 equipment in the fitness room was broken. I appreciated the assistant manager letting me have a late check out. There was easy access to the highway. Even though my business was on the east end of town, I found Louisville to be a small city - the airport and downtown areas were not too far away.
“A little outdated but nice”
The furnishings were very worn in our room - even the carpet was past its prime. We got a good rate and it was worth what we paid but overall just needs improvements. It was clean enough and the breakfast was okay - it included biscuits and gravy.
