“Convient location and Great staff”

Close to University of Louisville, Churchill Downs, and St James Court. King suite extremely comfortable. All the staff participated in making our stay very comfortable.

“Large Rooms for Great Price”

This hotel is located just blocks from Six Flags. The room was great. We had a 2 queen room which included a fridge & microwave. The room had a huge desk with chair & a separate sitting chair with lamp/table. There was no problem fitting our baby's playpen in the room. It wasn't in the way at all. The free breakfast included waffles & bisquits & gravy which were very good. Only small complaint is some street noise & airplane sounds. But they didn't interfere with sleep or wake our 3 kids. Pool was nice. Patio swings out front nice touch. Large counter space in bathroom.

“We would go back”

The hotel was clean and included a complimentary hot breakfast. It was easy to get to from the highway and had several retaurants close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though it was close to Six Flags over KY and had a lot of families with small children our room was quiet and we didn't hear a lot of noise coming from the hallway or other rooms.

“No frills but convenient”

Selected a Country Inn & Suites hotel because I've really enjoyed my stay at many in the past and this one was convenient. I expected all hotels to be the same in this chain, however... The staff always seemed preoccupied even when not busy, and weren't eager to help (a bit miffed when I asked for info). Breakfast was not attended well, and twice the coffee was brewed incorrectly (looked like dirty water). The person tending the waffle maker (we weren't allowed to use it ourselves, evidently) consistently tore up every waffle. Very limited selection at breakfast, and had to ask for something basic each morning. The pool and exercise room were small but adequate if you were the only one there.

“Nice atmosphere”

My husband and I really enjoyed the hotel. The breakfast selection was wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly. But, I did cut my thumb on the bathtub. And the front desk did not keep bandaids on hand. That was the only downside to the trip.

“Close to so much”

Wasn't too sure when we drove up to the hotel. The area left us feeling a bit uncertain of what to expect. We were pleased with all of the aspects of the hotel. Would stay there again, in a heart beat. Really close to the Downs
