“Excellent hotel value for the price”
As a frequent traveler, I'm a fairly discriminating hotel guest. The Tesoro was a great value for the cost, particularly if you are out and about most of the time. Highly recommend this hotel for a 3-4 day get away. Pros: Very friendly staff; room was spacious and clean, with an upgrade had balcony overlooking the marina; many, many resturaunts and shops nearby (both marina and Cabo); nice pool for daytime use. Free shuttle to the beach is nice, but so is the walk around the marina to reach the beach. Cons: Water is unfiltered so care must be taken; TV (while large) only has two english channels in spite of the room guide saying otherwise; internet is limited to a public kiosk in the lobby.
“Cabo is my new favorite place”
The Wyndham is awesome! I went with three other friends and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. We opted for the included breakfast deal and it was so worth it. Breakfast at their restaurant was amazing and the staff all around was wonderful from Arturo who checked us in and helped out the entire time we were there to Jesus our waiter to Hydy who checked us out. Everyone did an incredible job of putting up with the ridiculous requests of four young girls. We love the hotel and hope that their prices remain somewhat the same because I plan on going back this year for spring break!!!
“Nice and Clean with a great view!!”
It was my first time going to Cabo and I was really happy with the service at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable. The hotel is located at the heart of the city and you are within walking distance to all the hot spot nightclubs.
“Better than expected!! Avoid the marina behind the hotel.”
I was a little worried about staying here after reading the litany of bad reviews. It think the majority of the complaints are from very inexperienced travelers that do not often travel out of the US. We had the suite. It faced the marina and had a wonderful patio complete with hammock. T he room was nicely appointed and very comfortable. The entire hotel was completely modern and remodeled yet definitely had the feeling of an old world Mexico mission. The extensive tile work in the bathrooms was beautiful. The air conditioning system was new and awesome! The new digital in-room safe was a great amenity. We felt totally comfortable leaving our valuables locked away.

“2nd stay going back in April 2008”
I would have prefered a marina view like last year but we got a quiet room that had already been remodeled. Many of the staff remembered us from last year and really treated us very nicely. Water taxi is free and great to go to both beaches (Lovers Beach and Medano). SInce you are at the marina it is close to all activities and downtown. Food is ok, if you dont see something you want ASK. Enjoyed ourselves again.

“Best Location!”
This was the best place we could have picked for our price range. It is within 3 minutes of all the nighlife and it was a very popular place to stay at. It is far from the main beach since you are right next to the marina but the hotel provided free transportation. All of the fine dinning was within walking distance or around the main beach. The driver was amazing, he even picked us up at our desired time. (There is a schedule for drop offs and pickups but they are willing to pick you up at other times.)
“Great Room!!”
Second time at Tesoro, love that you can walk everywhere. This time I took a shuttle tour to Toro Santos, home of artists and the Hotel California...worth the trip! Also met a great water taxi driver who took me everywhere!! Saw whales, sea lions, sea turtles etc... My room at Tesoro was awesome...Huge living room and bedroom, private4 balcony and terrace.
