“Fabulous Setting and People”
I highly recommend the Welk Sirena del Mar. The awesome view from the rooms and the vanishing edge pool are amazing. You never tire of waking up to it. The staff was "the best", both fun and professional. The social atmosphere at the hotel was an unexpected pleasure. With just 36 suites, everything is very personal. All ages are at this hotel, from all different areas, and countries. The food and the activities offered by the hotel were great on the days you don't feel like going into town. This place is immaculate!! Can walk to a local beach cove where we hung out with a local family and a pelican. This resort more than met our expectations, and that is their goal!
“Sirena del Mar great hotel , best vacations”
I stayed at the Sirena del Mar, with my family and other family for a week . We wanted share the spring break our senior sons before they go to college. We definitively had an unforgettable week in this great hotel. We enjoyed the best and most personalized service ever in this hotel given the small number of rooms. Our room had a gorgeous ocean view where we could see whales and their babies mostly in the mornings, plus sunrises and sunsets. This was the best room ever for the price we payed, because of the view, size and the quality. The daily activities hosted at the hotel made our stay ever more fun and enjoyable. Thanks to Sirena de Mar for making this week a great week specially for for our senior sons. We will for sure come back !
“Best in Cabo we've found! Our second trip to Sirena del Mar - and looking forward to going back!”
This was our second trip to Sirena del Mar, and look forward to going back again. They opened only five months ago, yet, it's amazing how well run the facility is. The staff is VERY accomodating, they speak good English, and have engaging personalities. This was our seventh trip to Cabo, and this resort is by far the best we've found. When Welk says "ocenfront" they mean it...unlike others who's oceanfront rooms are the closest to the water ON THEIR property - but still not ON the coast. We enjoyed being able to cook in our room, and at the grills by the pool. Take a cab or rental car to COSTCO or Sam's Club upon your arrival and stock-up. If you prefer loud and rowdy...this is not the place for you - but if you want relaxation and a great time - I would have to recommend the Welk Sirena del Mar. The activities director is great....he offered plenty of fun, easy and enjoyable stuff to do, while not imposing if you weren't interested. Expedia's star rating is too low for this resort compared to the others we've stayed-at. We are already talking about another return to Cabo - and it will almost certainly be to the Welk Sirena del Mar! If you aren't happy you chose the Welk Sirena del Mar after being there...I would be very surprised. Have Fun!
“I want to live there !”
This place absolutely it's beautiful, quiet and extremely comfortable. You will love it ! We rented a car and avoided all the noisy crowd by staying here. Having a full kitchen and a blender really helped to make our own margaritas ..
“5 days of Heaven.....”
This was my first trip to Cabo San Lucas and my friend and I found this resort on Expedia. It's a timeshare which we were not aware of when we booked. We were asked upon check-in if we would like to participate in a 90 minute presentation and in return would receive a voucher for an activity in the area. We politely declined and were not approached again. The service was extraordinary from the front desk, the concierge and all of the wait staff. We were greeted by name after the first day and they all went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. One thing to be aware of is that the restaurant and pool bar are not open in the evening except Friday, Saturdays and Sundays. I did some research prior to traveling and knew this so we had our shuttle driver stop at a market so we could get some things for the room which had a very nice convenience kitchen in it. We had no real plans and the pool and facilities surrounding were perfect for a relaxing vacation in the sun. The swim up bar is fabulous and you can order food to be delivered to you while you lounge by the pool. The view is breathtaking from every room. Last but certainly not least, we had a late flight on the day we left and check-out was 10:00 am. We were invited to stay and enjoy the resort for the rest of the day. They kept our bags in a secure location and gave us the key to an empty room so we could shower before we left for the airport! A definite recommendation for anyone!!
“Great Escape”
My husband and I stayed at Sirena del Mar for our honeymoon. We wanted a small boutique hotel where we could relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of NYC. We could not have asked for a better experience. Sirena del Mar was a laid back location, with delicious food and drinks, an amazing and highly accommodating staff. The rooms are very spacious, we stayed in the Ocean-front suite and it was bigger than our apartment in NYC!!! it is a great location for couples seeking a low-key location yet something close to shopping and dining. My husband and i definitely plan on going back!!!
“AMAZING 3 DAYS VACATION”
Me and my girlfriend have spent 3 days in this amazing resort. It has been a relaxing and beautiful vacation. The resort is comfortable, well organized, clean, new, friendly...the restaurant so good!!! you can have a fantastic view in your own balcony and also in the pool. We got a couple massage...and super drinks and lunches in the pool...gorgeous! the staff is so friendly: Gina, Manny, Ramiro...and everyone who works there! I will recommend Sirena del mar to my friends for sure!!!
“Great resort!”
We had a great time at the Sirena del Mar. The service is amazing and everyone was more than accommodating. Pros: The best service I've had, the place was very beautiful and clean, it wasn't overcrowded (didn't have to fight for a pool chair), incredible views. Cons: the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, and the food and drinks were a bit pricey. Overall though, I highly recommend it and would stay again.
“WOW!”
I loved this place!! The rooms were very comfortable with outstanding views and the entire place was very clean! It is on the small side which was great because we received personalized attention. The pools are beautiful and clean and not too cold. The landscaping is great. I can't wait to go again! The bartender's and waiters were lots of fun and made great drinks!!! Only 10 minutes to walmart and 15 to town. great location!
“Fantastic place to stay”
The hotel and resort was amazing... Exactly what we were looking for. The only negative was the timeshare staff, who were a little pushy/overfriendly. With that said, you can easily avoid them unless you choose to attend the presentation, and there were none of the "hard sell" terror tactics used at other resorts. A simple "no" was good enough. Overall, the resort is amazing.
