“Cabo's best kept secret”
This hotel is situated in a great spot to walk to anywhere in Cabo and a short walk to the beach. The staff is friendly and it is economically priced and clean. We have stayed 2 yrs in a row and will certainly go back.
“Wouldn't go back.”
Old T.V only got 2 channels that worked in English. The mattress was old and hard. We asked the front desk to call an book a A.T.V day for us, an when we checked out she said we owe money for the call! Complimentry coffee and what ever every morning, but not till 8:30. We get up earlier.
“Convenient hotel in Cabo San lucas”
Very nice Hotel, near of Medano Beach and Wal Mart, is in the principal avenue. We take option with breakfast and we liked. The pool its very cold because don't receive sun in all day. But you dont need because you can go to Medano and Chileno Beach very easy. The recepcionist give us assist to take tours very cheap. the hotel have Wireless but its very slow.
“GOOD LOCATION, GOOD PRICE”
Great place to stay when you want an inexpensive getaway with all amenities in the area!!
“Quiet Cheap hotel like A Mexican version of 'Motel 8'”
We've been in several areas of Mexico and did not find this to be as bad as the reviews said. We found that there were two main employees & the day shift person was unfriendly and evening person spoke English very well and was always very helpful. One thing that wasn't told to us is that this used to be a place you could rent like a timeshare. With that said all of them of kitchens, but not working stoves. There were a few units of three floors and no elevator so carrying up baggage was a challenge. Two of the buildings are hotel like and the other two residents live in. It was very clean and safe. Security guard was on site after 11pm with a secured locked gate. They have a decent pool. It was very nice and quiet. At night a little noisier from neighbors TVs. Around the building not so pretty. There was an open field and some sort of dump - and no didn't smell foul. We only really slept there and walked to downtown and the beach every day. That was a 10 minute walk to get there and it was very easy. I read someone complained it was on the main street and it was, but we never found that to be an issue or loud. For those of you who travel a lot to Mexico and want to be more with the locals or a cheap place to basically just stay at I would recommend this place. It's like a motel 8. Cheap, clean but not luxury. There are no fancy amenities, but it was a nice relaxing place. The people who worked there other than the front desk spoke very little English, but were nice.
“Great Time!! Ready to come back.”
We were concerned about this place, the reviews were not the great, but we took our chances. It is really a one bedroom apartment with a bedroom in privacy plus living and dining room with an acceptable full kitchen, it was clean and well maintenanced. The bathroom was small and tight, but at the end it worked fine. The pool is great but cold, but not much colder than the ocean. The surrounding gardens are fine but not too elaborate. The front desk was amiable and organized our water activities and car rental quite well. There are no organized activities within the hotel and at the end it is a nice place, quiet place out of noisy Cabo. It is not pretentious at all but for the rate, it is a really a great value..
“I will return every time to Villa la Paloma”
This is an small hotel with enough space to be confortable, each room has equiped kitchen and living room, the swiming pool is confortable and it has sunny area. Ubicated next to the downtown you can walk to it or take a taxi. Surrunded with services cafeterias and small shoping centers. If you use to carry with fishing things the suites have space to them.
“WOW. not at all what I expected. Make sure your getting a deal.”
Small Hotel but not what I had expected. Nobody was staying at the hotel yet when my Family called to get in touch me they claimed we where not staying there. Room ok but there were underwear hanging in the bathhroom. I hope they cleaned. they cleaned our room once out of the 4 days we where there. Had to call for towels and other than that place was a ghost town. They have WIFI and that worked without a hitch, but no contintal breakfast as we were promised. Overall reminded me of motel 6. spend a little more money and stay at one of the other Hotels by the beach it would be worth it.
“Construction going on”
We statyed at this hotel the first weekend of March and there was construction going on around the hotel and ABOVE our suite!!!! The hotel was installing an air conditioning unit and all the debri was falling on our suite floor!!! Nice hotel but would not stay there during construction....
“Not as it seems”
The woman at the front desk was unhelpful and unfriendly. The swim-up bar was closed. The pool was cold. The continental breakfast consisted of froot loops and canned milk. This hotel is located a block away from a sewer treatment plant and the smell is intolerable. Both of the main roads from the north intersect just out the entry to the hotel; hence, you will find no silence! jakebrakes, crotchrockets, car alarms, and fighting locals!
