“amazing vacation”
we got 1bd room suite for my husband adn our son. We had an amazing time. The beach is right downstair so you don't need to go far. They have activities rental and water taxi that take you to the lover's beach. It's an amazing view from this hotel. Don't recommend eating at La Faro. It's not worth your money. La Perla is ok. You get more from your bucks eating at Buccaneero. The other complain I had is the sauna water was very slow and it was difficult to turn the water on/off. Other than this, we love this hotel.
“Zero bang for the buck”
Room bordered a drainage ditch, so it often stank, and mosquitoes made outside patio unusable. When asked to change rooms, I was told there are no room guarantees.
“Great vacation”
We loved the hotel and the location. The food was great, service was excellent! Be aware of the timeshare they try to sell you though.
“downtown gem”
the hotel bottom line is clean, rooms are big, food is cheap and the service is very good. the pay per view didn't work and the wifi was very patchy, but those are my only 2 complaints period. the hotel was catered to older folks, 45 - 55 year olds and I'm 30. but it was such a close walk on the beach to every cool bar and only a $6 cab ride to downtown downtown. I wish I was there for a longer time.
“Not impressed”
The staffs were horrible especially one staff at the poor -- very unfriendly and unhelpful. This hotel will find every way to make money off u. The WiFi was horrendous.....couldn't get a signal in the room and they charged u 12 dollars a day. Food was ok. The hotel is 10 minutes from the marina. There is a pond next to the hotel (could be from ongoing construction)....but if you live near...u can smell the stench.
“Couldn't have been more perfect”
My husband and I took a honeymoom/anniversary trip here, booked it sight unseen through expedia. We will never go ANYWHERE ELSE again. This was the best week of our lives!!!!! The food, the service and the people, even the guests were extremely friendly. We met the nicest people, and made good friends. Jesus, who waited on us at the pool, always had a smile and made sure we were happy. After 2 days there, he knew our names!! When we left, we exchanged addresses and cannot wait to see him again. Francisco and Raymundo, all of them, they all knew us on a first name basis!!! Hugo was hilariously entertaining and sweet as he led our water aerobics class and encouraged everyone's participation. This is the nicest resort we have been to, and it's been a lot. We won't ever go anywhere else, and when we can afford a timeshare, we wouldn't go anywhere other than here. Thank you Expedia, for recommending such a perfect vacation!!
“It's a TimeShare!”
Beautiful place, great location but it's a timeshare. They were also doing construction which was very noicy
“Ready head back to Cabo & the Villa Del Arco”
Our room wasn't quite ready when we got to the resort so just went to the pool area to check things out after a brief Time Share spiel. Once we said we are not interested in that at all we never were bothered again during our 10 night stay! We loved the pool area and and the location worked great for us, a 10 -15 minute walk to the downtown area. If you take a cab (FULL size Ford Vans) you pay 80 pesos (about $6.50 US at this time), so if you can find someone else heading that way share the ride. I do prefer to walk. The one thing that I didn't care for was that you can't pay cash for drinks or food at the hotel and for that reason I only gave it a "4" for overall satisfaction. If you're like use and prefer to eat at various restaurants in town then this isn't a problem. I would also recommend taking a trip to WalMart or Sam's Club (look for a 30 day membership card in the Los Cabo Magazine) to buy some drinks and food for use in your room. I loved having my cereal on the balcony. I'm in the process of booking a trip with my wife & our daughter for January! I suggest you read more reviews to see why some people have dislikes and form your opinion from that! CAN'T WAIT TO BE BACK!!!
“Very impressed”
Very nice hotel and very family friendly. Will hopefully be back soon.
“Will go back next year”
This hotel was more than I expected. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great and family oriented for kids, only draw back is that for food and drinks u really need to bring your wallet. Best if u go to walmart and buy the groceries for your stay.
