This was my 5th time staying at the SOLMAR and I won't stay anywwhere else -- It is the most beautiful location, excellent service, very friendly - very clean - and excellent food too - I try to go every November and will definitely try for next year too thank you very much

It was my best vacation trip! I love solmer resort. I can't wait to go back. I will try to go back somer every year from now on. People are so nice & good manner, specially, those waiter & waitress for the restaurant. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner, every day for all inclusive. The food was unbelievable, I had great time. Also big thank you for the concierge man ( i forgot his name). He know everything and helped us where to go and even call tour company to confirm our booking. it made out trip so much easier. location was perfect. I walked to almost any where. I didn't spend any money for taxi. BIG RECOMMENDATION!! I will tell all my friend to go for this beautiful place. Thank you again for wonderful trip!!!

“Wouldn't stay anywhere else!”

Peaceful and secluded but close to everything.Perfect walking distance to Downtown and the Marina.We did alot of research before we went and checked out alot of places while we were there. We are SOOOOO glad we picked Solmar.we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else!!!

“Best Beach in Cabo”

The view at the Hotel is absolutely breath taking. Older units are right on the beach and much like "old mexico". The whole resort is very clean and in good condition. Best part, serene. No vendors on the beach, just beautiful sand and ocean. If you want action, walk to town. This is the best of both worlds. We will definitely go back!!!

“had a blast”

we loved this place, short walk 2 everywhere, people were very nice,it was so quite and CLEAN,4 a older place it was amazing, the view was breath taking,the room (jr suite)was so clean,everyone was very eager 2 please, room service was fast, the food was good,we would go back in a heartbeat !!! we picked this place cuz it's just far enough from town, to be relaxing,without the rowdy crowds, but still close 2 everything.

“Very nice and comfortable”

We stayed 7 nights and enjoyed every minute. The location is perfert - it's close enough to walk to the city (10 min), but it's isolated enough to not be crowded. The room was nice and clean. The kids had fun going out from the room directly to the sand. The pools are nice. The water was warm but a little dirty. We didn't try the hotel's restaurant - we preferred to eat in the city. We had a good time there and would love to go back.

“Amazing”

I loved my stay at the solmar suites. I am 22 and it was very peaceful but it was only a $6 cab ride to squid row and that was for 4 of us. There was also an italian restaurant about 5-10 min walk away. Galeon was their name and it really was not very good and the service was aweful. They also added on a $25 tip on our $68 check so be careful of that. But we spent most of our time by the amazing pool and the food at the pool bar was very cheap and tasty. The drinks were also pretty cheap with a great happy hour. I would definately go there again.

“Paradise!”

I was traveling with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful experience! We were very pleased the hotel Solmarl. The staff were very accommodating. Our room view turned out to be more than we expected and was a corner room with 2 balconies and a complete view of the ocean. We especially enjoyed the kitchenette in the room because we were able to make breakfast and lunch. Solmar had beautiful grounds, pools, a nice restaurant, and great location to the beach (although you couldn't swim but it kept it quiet and no one selling stuff). The only recommendation I have for the hotel is to update its 1970's decor. It also was very nice to have the sister hotel, Playa Grande, right next door to use their facilities. It is a newer and larger hotel. The convenience to town was amazing! We walked or took a short taxi ride every night! I had been warned about the time share push in Cabo and everyone was right. At times it was a bit much and very pressured. What we liked most about our hotel was the fact that it was one of the smaller more quaint hotels. There were no Spring breakers and lots of couples. We felt like we were on our honeymoon. Overall it was wonderful experience! They are building more exclusive units but the construction did not interfere with our stay there. We definitely recommend to purchase Grayline transport. Be careful of the airport when you arrive. Go right outside to meet Grayline do not listen to anyone trying to push timeshares!!!!

“Good Time”

Is very ok for what you pay, and has a second hotel you can go, so much nicer. good service and quiet.
