“A diamond in the rough”

The prior reviews express the excellent quality of this hotel. But unlike most of the reviews, I selected the hotel because of the location of the medical facility across the street. While on an NCL cruise, a family medical emergency caused us to depart the ship. The ship staff recommended several hotels near the medical facility at $300US. After some discussions and a call the Port Master, he recommended the 7 Crown. I looked up the hotel on Expedia, saw the very reasonable rate but became cautious, thinking it would be a dive. Let me tell you that as a well being a seasoned traveler, and this being my first ever review, I thought it was very important to let everyone know this hotel is a Diamond in the Rough. It was very clean, pillows and bed linens felt like they were brand new. Rooms and bathroom facilities were spacious. Front office staff were excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cabo San Lucas. We had three Jr. Suites and everyone felt the same. Thank you 7 Crown for making our difficult stay more satisfying!

“Great location for those who want to go to activities without paying for a taxi.”

The hotel location was great, everything that you could want to do was within walking distance. i specifically chose this place because of the proximity to the bars, clubs and the main beach to visit. The staff was extremely helpful, they set up any activity i wanted to do completely for me. The staff even gave me feedback of activities to try all at no charge like many places that have concierge. i would totally go back for the location and the help alone. The only problem i would say is the rooms are kinda small (at least the one i purchased), with no view of anything spectacular. The breakfast wasnt much of one and the cards had to be fixed to open the doors one time, but even with all these i would still go back to this hotel for the staff alone. Basically, if you plan to stay in your room a lot then this isnt the hotel for you (but why would you in cabo anyways), but if you want to be able to walk anywhere and see all the best attractions this hotel is on the "strip".

“You wont be disappointed”

The Hotel is extremely good for the price. Its about a mile and a half (5 dollar cab ride) to the beach and resorts. Its about a half a mile to some really cool clubs and bars. I definitely recommend it. The only problem is that the bed was kinda hard.

“Best Economy Hotel”

We stayed at a Junior Suite room. The room was very spacious, clean, almost new. The hotel is located at: - 3 blocks from the beach, - 5 blocks from the nightclubs, - 2 blocks from Puerto Paraiso mall - 3 blocks from Marina

Nice clean room and bathroom. Free internet connection as well. Parking with surveillance. Only thing I would recommend is a table and chairs in the room.

“Simple, yet effective”

Hotel is clean, staff are friendly. Breakfast is very simple: individual boxed cereals, yogurt, juice, coffee, toast. The beach is about a 10 min walk, the heart of downtown about a 7 min walk. If you're looking for a simple, clean, convenient place to stay, this is it.

“No Problems”

This hotel was right for the money. Inexpensive, but clean. We asked for a king bed but got a double and the room was rather small. I thought maybe something ws lost in the translation. We could have walked to the beach if we wanted to. (about 1/2 mile)The only inconveniece was the road construction in front of the hotel which made it difficult to access from the front. There was limited parking in the rear.
