Great hotelPosted 25-Aug-2014
My husband and I just returned from Sandos for our honeymoon. I was worried bc of some of the reviews but we had a great time from the start. Gina at the front desk took out picture, wine and choc covered strawberries were left in our room, and we had a spectacular view. We did stay on the ocean side which is not as updated from my understanding but we had no problem with our room. The food was good and everyone was super nice. The entertainment staff was phenomenal for days and nights. We don't join a lot but Jenny did get my husband to play water volleyball and do a push up competition in the stone club one night. We loves the night shows and the different themes at the stones club. The marina literally is a walk down the hill with shopping and access to any boat rides or excursions. They are pretty rough in the marina trying to push stuff on you tho. We took the boat tour is the arch and was then dropped off at medano beach... It's approx 40 min walk around the marina back to the hotel from there. We took a shuttle from the airport (16 per person) but did the taxi back (80 dollars). The only suggestions we had were bottled water and ac in the pool bathrooms which were both trivial. We loved it. It's so beautiful there!

Very nice to stayPosted 25-Aug-2014
It was located near town within walking distance to popular night clubs. The food was amazing! And we Love Raul (Staff) !!!! He was the best ever!!! The only thing I can say that's negative is that the water at the adjacent beach is not swimable.

Experience of the HotelPosted 25-Aug-2014
Pros: I liked the location of the hotel. I also liked the pools and it being all inclusive.
Cons: I was a on a very tight budget and found this trip through best deals. I can't complain for what I paid. More shade around pool.
Location: The marina was close by, shopping, and other restaurants. The marina offered plenty of activities, jet skis, glass bottom boats ride, water tax rides
The room that I choose was an ocean view and it was beautiful. There were 3 levels of pools with plenty of room for all the guest. The pool which I liked best was the one with the swim up bar. It was a great place to meet all of the guest and find out where every one is from. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. It was also a nice walk to the marina and other local shopping and restaurants.

Pleasantly surprisedPosted 23-Aug-2014
A girlfriend and I just returned from Cabo yesterday. We booked our stay at Sandos Finisterra with Expedia. After reviewing several other all inclusive resorts we picked this one. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. Value for price we paid was excellent. Staff was pleasant and courteous, room was beautiful, food was great! Overall an amazing trip!

The Most Amazing Engagement Proposal!Posted 23-Aug-2014
Pros: I loved the scenery from our jr. suite level seven view of the harbor (from the balcony) and beach from the front entrance. I was a perfect get away.
Cons: Everything was perfect thanks to the all-inclusive deal except for the spa pricing. It could have been more affordable but at least the spa was great.
Location: The harbor is located directly across the street. Within the harbor and next to it everything else is available, such as all water activities & food.
The hotel's concierge helped me set up the most amazing beach dinner, with a personal guitarist, personal waiter, champagne, dinner, a speaker and microphone so that I could sing to my lovely 'now' fiancé, plus rose peddles on the bed (in our hotel room) that said marry me and chocolate covered strawberries; all for the perfect engagement proposal! It was amazing :)

Consider Twice Before You Choose This OnePosted 22-Aug-2014
Pros: Restaurants, Food, and Swimming pools.
Cons: Securing customers' personal and credit card info is crucial and needs to be improved.
Location: 1) It is easy to access downtown, marina,.. 2) View is good.
This is the 1st time we went to Los Cabos. We chose this hotel, since it was rated 4 star with a beach front, so that kids can swim. Cons: 1) Our credit was used for deposit of $75 when check-in. We got a call from credit company one day after we got back that the deposit was not refunded, and the card was charged an additional $2,900 for something we have no clue. I saw that this is not the first incident from reviews. This is very serious, and destroyed our trust to the hotel as well as the location. 2) The hotel is a time-share and very old. The first room we got has a wet floor and noisy AC. 3) Beach is fairly big, but no swimming is allowed, due to high waves. Kids can only swim in the pools. 4) Room services can be lousy. We experienced missing towels, hair dryer, toilet paper rod, etc. It seems that cleaners did not pay attention to details. Pros: 1) Restaurants are fairly good with good food. One can get something to eat for drink all the time. 2) Waiters are overall very friendly.

Nice grounds and easy access to pools.Posted 20-Aug-2014
Pros: I loved the pools and restaurants
Cons: Rooms need a major remodel
Location: Location is good. About a 5 min walk to the marina, but the hotel is on a hill, so the walk back is not too pretty.
I love the hotel grounds and restaurants. I would give this hotel 5 stars, but the quality of the room was very disappointing. All of the hardware in the bathrooms need to be replaced ASAP. Sofa bed was more comfortable than the actual beds and the door kept getting stuck. 2 out of the 3 nights we were there, we had to go to the front desk and have them send someone to fix our door. The actual hardware on the door died and had to be fixed TWICE. Each time that the door was being fixed we were stuck in the room and it was very annoying. On a better note, the pools were lovely and the restaurants were very good. My favorite was Don Diego. I wish they would have sent out a notice to all of the guests with all of the activities going on that day, because it was hard to figure out what kind of activities were happening and we ended up missing many of them that we would have liked to go to.
