Great Staff!!

Posted 23-Jan-2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: In colder weather have other than the swim up pool heated
Location: Farther to the airport and with out schedule meant a VERY early wakeup call (4 am) but it was worth it
You can be soooo proud of your great staff. All were extremely helpful and friendly and made our stay very enjoyable - special cudos to Eva at the Diego restaurant. She is a "GEM"

All-Inclusive vacation

Posted 23-Jan-2015
Pros: The room was extra large with two bathrooms for two people.
Cons: I heard the people at the pool bar drank all day and peed in the pool.
Location: We walked to the Marina and shopped. Every place is clean and very friendly.
Everyone was very friendly. The pools are beautiful, the weather was great, and the food was good. Any time you don't have to cook and clean is great.

Very nice but...

Posted 21-Jan-2015
Pros: Activities team, the helpful staff, our maid was great with a clean room everyday with towel animals on the bed. Food was ok. We didn't go hungry.
Cons: Time share people as you walk in the door!!! That was not a good way to start our vacation.
Location: Location was amazing. The harbor on one side and the pacific on the other. We went on a snorkeling trip..see Manuel at the first window. It was fun
Resort was amazing. Not too big, not too small. Activities team was the best!! Norma, Joel, and Francisco at the pool bar were awesome!! But beware of the time share people. They catch you as you walk in the door. So, if you are not willing to sit for 90 plus minutes, them just say no. They are slick and talk very fast...be careful!! Other than that, our vacation was totally worth every penny spent!!! Thanks Expedia and Sandos!!!!

Great location

Posted 21-Jan-2015
Pros: Pools , most were heated, Short walk to town. Clan nice resort. Plenty of chairs available at poolside
Cons: Information is wrong that they give you at check in. They use their time share people to tell you about the resort.
Location: restuarants in town are nice
Good stay. Location, pool, views, very clean. Time share people are your greeters and the info they give you are mis represented. The hours of restaurant operations and which ones are open that are stated in their hand out and what they tell you are all wrong . We tried to have dinner the first night at 10 pm at the buffet that was to close at 11 pm. It was already closed. We tried to eat breakfast the next morning at one of the breakfast servings and it wasnt open. Bed info.

Hotel was nice, food was great.

Room was very run down, older style. Didn't seem to match the rest of the hotel quality. First room had leaky sink and they moved us, could be updated, if your not in the timeshares which are brand new looking and beautiful. Food was delicious! Very impressed with some of the menus. Wish they had more allergy conscious options (gluten, dairy free).

Don't hesitate!

Posted 19-Jan-2015
Way better than expected, it was at 98% capacity and never line ups and lots of pool and beach chairs always available. could eat in restaurants as much as you wanted not just one each. Food was excellent inc the buffets. Whales swimming right off the beach even closer than the whale tour we did. Staff were exceptional and make the place even better. You can walk to the harbor, shops and tours in about 5 mins. Had bay view room and view was great. Only comment I'd make is rooms are not 5* but still very clean and comfy beds. There was some construction still going on around the hotel but really didn't bother us at all. Considering the hurricane was in Sept this place looks amazing! Have been to a few all incs and this was by far the best. Don't hesitate! I'm very picky and would go back tomorrow!

Great all inclusive close to town

Posted 18-Jan-2015
We had such a great time at Sandos last week! You can't beat the location- front of the hotel faces the beach and the back of the hotel faces the marina, so you can easily walk to swim with dolphins or go into town. Most of the restaurants have a view and the food was much better than most all inclusives. We went to the cupcake cafe daily and had frappacinos made by Ricardo, who was the best! The pools are also nicely heated in the winter and the swim up bar has great food and drinks! Would definitely go back!

Nice Hotel - Great Location

Posted 16-Jan-2015
Pros: Loved that there was a water cooler in our room.
Sandos Finisterra is a great place to stay. The resort was very quiet, clean, and located right across the street from the marina, which was very convenient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. There was plenty to do if you want to partake in the resort activities. Everyone (guests and staff) was so nice. My only complaint was that we had a long day of travel with a flight delay and the 45+ minute ride from the airport to the resort. We were tired and hungry by the time we arrived. After checking in (but before getting our room keys), the front desk agent lead us to the concierge desk who was going to tell us about the resort, which she did but also proceeded to try and schedule a time to take a time share tour. If we had a drink in our hand, we would have been more apt to listen, but they were trying to sell us stuff before we even had our room key. It kind of felt like we were not free to leave. Not a great way to start a vacation. We've been to other resorts and expect the timeshare sales pitch, but this was not a great way to go about it. Other than that, everything else was great. The pools were great. All the restaurants we tried were awesome. Lots of walking. Can't wait to go back to Cabo!

Perfect location. Best views in Cabo

Posted 16-Jan-2015
Ricardo in cupcake cafe is a perfect employee… so nice and happy all the time. Also very good waitress/waiter staff down by pools. Built in the cliffs and right down from the arch and walking distance to downtown. Main rooms are little outdated bit clean. Not a big deal because we weren't in them much. Definitely would go back.
