“Best Budget Spot”

Great spot with friendly staff that will not bother you. It's no Hilton, but it was exactly what our budget allowed and more. I would recomend it to anyone who is looking for a clean, affordable place with no fuss. Love Marta

“Excellent Local Hotel”

Convenient to all services, including the Puerto Paraiso shopping ctr, restaurants, the marina, etc. Clean rooms with all the conveniences and helpful staff. A little noisy from the road, but not enough to keep me from sleeping well. Also very safe and secure. The continental breakfast was pretty much the same every day, but fresh and tasty. Great value.

“I will be back...one othe best non beach front hotel for some with a budget.”

Free wireless internet, and free cont. breakfast. coffee, juice, fresh fruit, ceral, and breads.....saves on buying breakfast. Just kitchen if you're looking to cook. Its so cheap to eat, not worth cooking. Great location if you don't mind walking a block to the beach for 2/3 less the beach front resorts. I will back to this hotel very soon. Cabo a great place and you can still go to Mexico for great price. Not Cancun...all US high prices. Eat at the local restuarants...forget the US chain resturants. By your transportation to and from the Airport thru Expeida. You will get ripped off if you arrive with out preplaned transportation. It's by Grayline....awsome..drivers. I also did the Grayline Booze Cruise. ....all taken care of with not problems or hassles. This allows you not get ripped out. I had a number of people that were sold tickets from street vendors and they were not real tickets. Pre buy though Grayline or buy direct from the cruise companies booth,. You are not bother by beach sellers. If not interested just them know......they move one.

“GREAT value for the cost!”

The rooms were of nice size and very clean. The maids were attentive and did everything they could to make it 5 star. Kitchen lacked cooking utinsils, but available for the asking. The pool may be small, but very comfortable, pleasant, and maintained. On-site little convenient store is very reasonable. The security guards were pleasant and worked 24/7. We felt safe there. Continental breakfast was limited (cereal, pastries, toast, fruit, yogurt, juice, milk, & coffee). The problem was running out if you didn't go to the "breakfast room" early enough. No food could be removed from that room. With breakfast covered, we went to Club City (5 min. walk across the street) and bought lunch supplies, alcohol, etc.. This saved us a lot of money. The cost is $2 for a day pass/ membership for Club City. Brink a backpack or bags because they charge extra for them. During the week we walked to the Marina, Cabo Wabo, the mall, flea markets, & several other places right in the middle of town multiple times. It was a little bit of a walk (15-20 minutes), but well worth it. Buses were an option, but we chose not to use them for exercise purposes. If you want to parasail, snorkel, etc. you can walk across the street & behind the big resort to Medina beach. Go to "Aries" tent or booth for best prices & friendly service. All-in-all, if you have a limited budget and want to take a fun-filled vacation, I would definitely recommend Quinta del Sol.

“excellent budget hotel”

I booked the hotel based upon previous reviews, and felt that this hotel was everything I expected. Rooms were very clean, beds were fine, AC worked, and the facility was extremely well kept, security was always visible. I can't say enough about the staff, the ladies in the office were excellent, the rooms were clean, and if you needed something they were there to get it for you. Carmen, in the breakfast room was great. Yes, you have to walk 1/4 mile to the beach, maybe 1/2 mile to downtown, but the price of the hotel, and level of service I received far outweighed these "negatives" A great hotel, not just a budget hotel!

“Quinta del Sol. Best for people with a budget!”

Quinta del Sol is simply the best!! Its location is absolutely PERFECT. It's close to everything. A 3-minute bus ride to Wal-Mart, a walking distance to Cabo's main strip; close enough to walk and far enough for party noise to not be heard (for those liking to sleep with silence). I feel bad for people staying at hotels where they have to taxi/bus their way to the strip...because it is always LIVE....every night. My 2 best friends and I partied out every night and its so convenient for us to walk there and back. The staff are absolutely amazing. Especially Elsa!! She made sure our stay was nothing less than wonderful... Stay here...you can't get any better with their rates and service. It's like ordering one shot of tequila but getting two.

“Our home away from home”

This is our second stay at Quinta del Sol and it was just as wonderful as the first. The staff is awesome and they went out of their way to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. The kitchenette has everything you need and if you want to pick up groceries from the local WalMart. We came back to the room one day to find they had make a pair of swans from towels and left them on our bed with rose petals. It was the sweetest thing. We will definitely be staying there again.

“Superb value for money”

This is a small, motel like establishment - two storey with parking in front of rooms. The standards both in and outside were very high, especially in relation to the very reasonable price. The pool is small, didn't bother. Breakfast is included but basic - don't touch anything other than the cereal, toast and muffins - this is Mexico, remember! There is a security barrier to protect the hotel from outsiders and the local district is a bit average, though we were happy to wander over the road to Dominos. Too far to walk to beach from here. Great staff, really trying to help and good atmosphere - would definitely go back.
