“Great spot”
The hotel is well designed with an open feel to all the public spaces. The room and bathroom were spotless, the bed was hard but good for one's back. The garden is nicely cared for with constant attention from a bevy of gardeners. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The buffet meals were extensive and the three other restaurans gave one almost unlimited choices.
“A little piece of paradise”
Everyone on the staff were so very kind and helpful. Our regular waiters Arnulfo and Edgar were so wonderful and friendly. Our maid service was superb. The room was always neat and clean. The grounds were beautiful and always kept clean. We wish that we could have stayed longer. Our only real issue was the hardness of the mattress in our room, which is a minor issue overall. We would definately recommend the hotel and would consider returning.
“Loved it!”
We visited Cabo in the middle of January. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Melia. First, the grounds are spectacular- MUCH nicer than even the website photos. The central courtyard is beautifully landscaped with desert plants. THen as you descend to the pool area, you are welcomed by lush green - palm trees everywhere, shrubs, flowers, etc. The outdoor buffet restaurant for breakfast and lunch always had a nice mix of local mexican food as well as more traditional "american" style food. The fancy restaurants were very nice also- I loved the setting and decor of the Terrazza restaurant! The hotel staff at the buffet dinner restaurant did a fantastic job preparing various "themed" dinners- the beach party dinner right on the beach was a wonderful way to welcome us to the resort on our first night. The Melia is situated on a HUGE beach- the red flags were up during our week, but you could go swimming in the cove area. Otherwise, I probably would not recommend paying for an ocean-front room because your room would be quite far from the ocean (the sand seems endless at the Melia, versus much smaller beach area at neighboring hotels). We stayed in building 4 (garden view). We previously stayed at the Melia Riviera Maya (Cancun) all-inclusive. My husband and I (mid-30s, no kids yet) preferred the Melia Cabo. In all, a great resort vacation value - we would love to go back!
“Fantastic 0 complains!!”
The stay in this hotel was more than expected. Check in an check out was fast and simple. Me and my boyfriend where welcome with Margaritas! We booked the ME Experience, so worth it, from start to finish we felt like ROYALTY! I recommend that you book all activities with Expedia, is much easier and safe and try to book activities that include transportation, will make your life much easier. Concierge was AMAZING!!! Both night and morning workers were great. Anything we need they were there to help. There is also an Expedia office located in hotel very helpful for any questions or changes you will like to make. We participated in Horse back ridding, 4x4 Safari (Camel Ride), ATV Adventure, Dinner by the beach at sunset, and Professional photo shoot. The pool, jacuzzi , Snack bar , restaurants and buffet were great! Overall I can sit here and write endless positive reviews about this hotel, we been to many hotels around the world and i was WOW by Melia Cabo Real. You want to enjoy yourself to the fullest book with this hotel! :)
“Exceeded Expectations”
Just returned from our honeymoon. We picked this resort for its price and all-inclusiveness. The grounds and service were amazing. Breakfast and lunch were excellent as well. Dinner was very average, however, we planned on eating and drinking in San Lucas a couple of nights which we did, so this was not a dissapointment for us. Tipping is optional and we did plenty due to great service, although never expected by employees.
“We will definitely go back!”
From the moment we checked in, to the time we checked out, the staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Prior to going, we read reviews that beds were hard, but we did not find that to be the case at all. We slept like babies! The variety of food at the buffet dinner each evening was more than we expected and all was very delicious. Food at all meals was plentiful! We did not have one bad meal. The hotel room was spacious, clean and had very nice bed linens. The pool area was beautiful and very relaxing. Overall, the hotel setting was lovely and our stay was excellent. This all inclusive experience was a great value for the money. We will definitely go back!
“Can't stop thinking about this place!”
I cannot find the words to express how perfect I found the Melia Cabo Real to be. Suffice it to say, it was unlike any place I've ever stayed on a vacation, and I cannot wait to get back.
“good experience”
This was our first time at an all inclusive. The concern seems to be the food, however we found the food to be better than expected. Not great but , it was fine. The resort was well kept and easy to get around. The staff couldn't do enough for us, they were excellent. All in all it was a good experience, glad we went. The kids loved it, especially the kids club. Made our trip much more relaxing. The only downside was the beds were hard.
“Great destination”
The hotel was very clean and the food and beverages were fantastic. We definitely would go back.
“loved it, great place”
We had a very nice time at this Melia. It was beautiful. The staff was friendly also.
