“not going back”
To far from town .When they cleaned the room they through out my itinerary and then charged my $3.00 to reprint it. I would not go back.
“We like it so much we went back a week later!”
This charming little hotel was ideal for our overnight stay before heading to our primary destination the next day. The pictures of the establishment available on the web provide a good basis for compairing this hotel to others and if anything did not do it justice. It was way more beautiful and spacious than the pictures seemed to reflect. While located on the highway, the inner courtyard and pool area were calm, peaceful and totally relaxing. The infinity pool looked towards an outdoor dining/bar area. Located next to that was the indoor dining area which was comfortable. Interesting art hug throughout the hotel. The rooms were a fare size with a very large bathrooms that included a wardrobe area and separate toilet and shower stalls. This hotel was within walking distance to the local Costco store and just a bit further in the opposite direction to the Walmart. The rest of the neighbourhood seemed industrial but the local bus went directly into town for 8 pesos. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. What more do you need? We liked it so much we didn't even look elsewhere for our return trip home when we once again needed to overnight in Cabo San Lucas. This likely wouldn't satisfy you if you were looking for a beach resort vacation but it met our needs and we came back. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to other travellers, especially in transit.
“Great place to stay”
We were very pleased with Los Patios, although I was a little worried on first sight by the ugly purple paint on the outside. Once we were inside it was delightful; nicely decorated and well maintained. The courtyard/dining area had a relaxed atmosphere and a view of the pool and we felt sheltered from the world outside. Our room overlooked the pool and I liked the really huge private balcony and hammock . The bedroom was nicely decorated and well maintained, and the bathroom was clean and nicely arranged. If we had been staying longer in Cabo, this is were I would have wanted to stay.
“Great Small Hotel”
We stayed at Los Patios for two nights prior to heading to Todos Santos and San Jose. The hotel is nice, the courtyard and pool are very nice. The staff were freindly and helpful. We had a ground floor room which was great as it had a private patio area with a small cactus garden and hammock. The patio area in the ground floor rooms are more private than the upper floor balconies which face in to the Courtyard. The room was comfortable, clean and we have absolutely no complaints about the hotel whatsoever. The only thing that may affect people is the location. The hotel is on the highway very close to Costco and walking distance to Walmart. If you want a beach hotel, this is not a good choice. If you aren't scared of using the local collectivos they run often, right outside the hotel and will transport you back and forth to town for next to nothing. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel to people who are not picky travellers and for those who are not afraid to take collectivos. We found that the majority of guests at the hotel were there from La Paz for a weekend getaway. We met lots of nice local mexican people, which is what we enjoy when we travel rather than just meeting other tourists.
