“Very relaxing!”
We had a lovely time in July for 6 nights. We ate at the restaurant on night and it was very nice, although not my personal favorite. We really like the goat cheese and shrimp chile relleno at Don Emilios. We also ate at a few other places in town and we weren't disappointed anywhere. A little past Don Emilios was another Mexican restaurant, more traditional that did great pork in banana leaves. We also got massages a few times, at a small place across and to the side of the Church, set back in a little courtyard. They had a promotion going on for 1 hour massages that was too good to pass up, and was about 1/2 the price of the hotel's in-room rates. They have 2 masseuses so my husband and I could get massaged at the same time. Anyway, back to the hotel! It was lovely and the concierges were really nice and helpful. They gave good dinner recommendations and helpful directions. The only issue was that they said they'd mail a letter for me and the US-based recipient still has not received it, 3 weeks later. (I should have just waited to mail it from the US, sigh!) The drinks were nice. Someone said in another posting that they were small, but they were probably the right size, it's not margaritaville here! Very quiet and soothing environment overall. Breakfast was yummy and private.
“Paradise in San Jose del Cabo”
If you want an all inclusive or beach front- this is not for you, but if you want a peaceful, tranquil paradise in the center of historic old San Jose- then Casa Natalia is definitely for you! The staff was amazing- always friendly and helpful. We were often the only people at the small but tranquil pool. The hotel has an agreement with another beachfront resort- but we felt no need. Lots of restaraunts from fun to elegant in the area. Take advantage of the Thursday eve Art Walk and the Saturday Organic Farmers Market/ Craft show. Bike rentals, computer. Very quiet rooms.
“Extremely Impressed!”
This was such a treat. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left, Casa Natalia was perfect. The staff is so nice and welcoming. It's true what they say: it's the little things that count. From the herbed tea and cold cloth they gave us on arrival, to the delicious gourmet breakfasts on the patio, to the turndown service at night. We felt truly pampered. The staff is willing to go the extra mile to make your stay great. Beautiful rooms, property, bar, restaurant, pool. Also, the shuttle service to the beach club was convenient, and the beach club was phenomenal! We will be back.
“Amazing Place”
A small boutique hotel with 16 rooms in San Jose del Cabo, with excellent service and friendly staff. There were no children running around which was great. The restaurant in the hotel was very good. Its a nice change from downtown Cabo
“Best hotel I've experienced...ever”
It is more like a bed&breakfast than hotel...it feels like home and is beautiful. Service is impecable and the restaurant has the best seafood I ever tasted, drinks at the bar are of a great quality. Casa Natalia is perfect for relaxing (San Jose is much less crowded with turists), romantic get away. Beach club associated with Casa Natalia is great, the beach is georgous although one can not swim in the sea (they have decent pool). We'll go back, no question about it
“the best hotel in San Jose”
this hotel is just perfect, the right size, and so romantique. The staff knows who you are ,not just a room number. The breakfast is the best part of the day so enjoy your stay.,i know i did. Try the beach club you will feel like a movie star.
“Absolutely wonderful. Great hospitality; great beauty!”
Casa Natalia is right on the main square of San José. It is near many art galleries, a pleasant church, and atmospheric street. It's about a 20-minute walk to the beach (with the usual hotel strip. The interior courtyard is very pretty with much running water and a nice, relatively small swimming pool. It abounds in well-kept flowers and has an array of maybe twentry or thirty high palm trees. Evening dining is outside on the patio under those trees. The rooms are spacious and the sanitary areas are meticulously clean. Great place to stay.
“Just Beautiful!”
We always spend our time at one of the bigger resorts in Cabo but this time we decided to end our trip with a night at Casa Natalia & we will do it again. Wonderful service, wonderful food...A perfect evening!
“A Fantastic Boutique Hotel”
What a find! A beautiful yet charming small boutique hotel, with a fantastic restaurant. Everything is top notch - not cheap but worth every penny. Great staff - great everything! Can't wait to go back next year.
“Very relaxing place to stay”
One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because of the excellent feedback found here and elsewhere. Casa Natalia did not disappoint. It is a quaint boutique resort with an excellent staff and good amenities. I have to say I would definitely go back again. I did have one complaint though that needs to be aired. It is very typical of many of the hotels in the area, but the nickel and diming has to stop. During dinner, we were charged $8 per small serving of salsa, a staple in Mexico and really something equivalent to ketchup or tabasco in the States. We were also charged $10 for a bottle of Crystal Geyser (not Evian even) bottled water. Purely ridiculous especially when main dishes average over $35. We were fortunate enough to be able to speak to the owner (who lives on premises) about our gripe and I wasn't too happy about her defensive posture. Hopefully it all sinks in and she does something about it. Other than that minor issue, everything else was excellent. Location was great too in the heart of old San Jose del Cabo. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation getaway, this is the place.
