“Good hotel but isolated”
Very pleasant staff. As are all hotels in the tourist corridor, it is isolated; fortunately, there are ample eating opportunities on sight.
“Can't wait to go back”
We had the most amazing time and was blown away by the friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was to much trouble and everything was done with a big smile on their faces. We even asked to change rooms due to a noisy generator and this was done without any problem. Will definately go back again.
“Nice hotel, but hard beds and bad Concierge Staff.”
We went to the Grand Fiesta Americana for our honeymoon. Overall the hotel was a good experience. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and we had a great view of the ocean. Everybody speaks english and takes US dollars. Nice pools and decent food. However, the beds were hard and the Concierge Staff was not helpful. They were not well trained and provided little help booking excursions for you. They just gave us some brochures when we asked them to recommend a snorkeling tour. Overall we had a good experience and would go back. The hotel is located in a fairly remote location so I would recommend renting a car because the cab rides add up.
“Good Luxury resort”
Good resort with friendly staff and activities like beach cabana, beach tiki bar, infinity pool etc. About 20 minutes away from Cabo San Lucas and San Jose, which are the hub for restaurants, marina and shopping. Found more options in Cabo San Lucas. San Jose is laid back and historical (around city center)
“Would not recommend”
This hotel is not at all what it says it is. Beds are very uncomfortable, dining options are limited and overpriced for what you get. Timeshare option was awful and the salesman was beyond rude.
“Can't wait to go back”
it's a wonderful hotel
“Dream 20th Anniversary”
My husband and I had heard about Cabo San Lucas several years ago, but had not a chance to get down. So, we decided this would be a great place to spend our 20th anniversary. The great reviews were really helpful in making our ladging choice, and we were not disappointed in our choice. The resort isgorgeous and very spacious. The rooms very comfortable, charming, and authentic in Mexican decor. The food was excellent and offered a wide variety of menu choices. In addition, the staff was very accommodating, and most gracious. We loved our stay there and hope to return real soon. Mucho gracias, Israel, for making our romantic cabana on the beach celebration dinner a real delight!
“So amazing we bought a timeshare there! (Which is a first for us!)”
I got a package through expedia that came with resort credits for certain things. I thought some of the perks it covered maybe would be worth it. I was wrong! They were ALL incredible perks. The best one of all was a cabana on the beach for dinner. It was 100 times cooler than I had expected. The hotel, pools, and private beach are perfect too. It was the best snorkeling in Cabo right there. Food is $$, but we loved the breakfasts and lunches. The spa gave me one of the best massages I've ever had! Can't wait to go back! Service was A+ as well!
“Exceeded Our Expectations”
This was our first time traveling to Mexico, and we were very pleased with the accommodations and service - both of which exceeded our expectations. Staff were welcoming, hospitable, and eager to please. They were constantly cleaning the resort and grooming the landscape, paying attention to the smallest of details. The property was beautiful and the views breath-taking. Our room was clean and spacious; the bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint is that we shared the room with tiny, harmless bugs (something I heard was common). I read several reviews concerning the cost of food on the resort. While it was more expensive than eating off-property, I found the prices to be comparable with that of U.S. resorts. The portions were appropriate; we even split a few dishes. The food was good, but again, the quality is comparable to U.S. resorts - not to 5-star restaurants. Overall, the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff far outshined any minor complaints we may have had about the room or food. I would highly recommend this resort to those looking to relax, unwind, and be catered to!
“Cabo”
Only issue was ants in the room and the front desk inability to make change for guests
