The beach, pool and restaurant staff are friendly attentive and upbeat. Beach and pools are great, rooftop pool has impressive 360 degree views. I would give the hotel 5 stars if it wasn't for their front desk, check in, and ability to fix issues. My executive room with an ocean view was facing a busy corridor with virtually no privacy. Room wasn't ready at check in and did not text when ready. The rooms are spacious but 3 star quality.

The Corazon is an elite property on Medano Beach. It and the other resorts are expensive and it’s too bad it cost so much to start at one of these places. Everyone was professional and courteous. I’d like to come back in the off season when it’s less expensive. It is definitely a first class location.

I loved this hotel, from dining options to the views which they where breath taking. This hotel is very close to other restaurants and the Marina which there is a lot of activities.

Didn’t feel like a valued guest; From the start holding you in an area to wait on room while they schedule you for timeshare presentation. We did the presentation and did not become a member and really wasn’t treated great for a top scale resort. Food was expensive and drinks were crazy expensive to drink out of a plastic cup.

Location is great. Walking distance to many restaurants, shops and the marina. Room was clean and spacious. Pools heated, which was nice. Rooftop was amazing. I wish there was a microwave in the room and a mini refrigerator. They had a cooler, not a real refrigerator. They also need more pool lounge chairs. Overall, very nice hotel. I would stay again!

Given how highly rated the property was, I was quite disappointed with how dirty the room was - the floor was incredibly dusted and I found dead bugs in the sink! The amenities of the hotel were nice (I.e the rooftop bar) but after never being told about a minimum consumption when using the amenity we were surprised with that news after sitting by the pool. It is weird to me to charge hotel guests to use the pool at the hotel. The food at the rooftop was good, but Aleta’s food was not great, which was surprising considering this was the restaurant they advertised as the best at the hotel. The beach club had great beds, but was stacked on top of each other. There was good service at the beach though. Overall, I don’t think I would recommend a stay here, but there were some nice aspects.

Beautiful property and convenient location. The front desk staff wasn't great, nor communicative. We uograded at check in, and were told it would be about an hour until the room was ready and we would get a text to notify us. We waited an hour, no text, went to the front desk and then were told becuase we upgraded it would take longer. We waited another 45 minutes, I went back and then was told it was ready. They weren't friendly at all. The pool server was very kind, but the chips were stale, the salsa and quacamole were mid. Disappointing for sure. We wouldnt stay there again as much as we loved the location and the view!!

Please beware that this property is a timeshare. They don't want to call it a timeshare but it's a club that operates just like a timeshare. They pretend as if they're showing you the amenities of the resort only to keep you in a room for 4 hours berating you and trying to pressure you into buying into their club even after you say NO multiple times. I booked it through Expedia and did not ask for that mistreatment. They should be ashamed of themselves for ruining people's vacations!!!

Unhappy with my stay at this property, room balcony wall between the neighbours was missing I called a few times for a room exchange it never got acknowledged once, water pressure was low and cold water only most the days. Fist day shower head poured muddy water, food was low quality it was very very noisy under Reno and construction from the beach to all the pool areas. It had a beautiful 360 roof top that was the only thing that I liked and was really unique, but even after spending $600 usd we were asked to leave earlier because the manager had approved for the servers to close early if it was slow even tho it closed later at midnight and we confirmed this before getting a table I do not recommend this resort and we will never go back, low end service and quality for 5star prices.

This resort and the swimmable beach in front of it are very beautiful and we had a great time! The resort staff were very friendly and they took care of all of our needs. We stayed in the hotel in July 2023. The indoor pictures did reflect what we saw. We received average service; they tried to up-sell us on everything imaginable. Trying to find chairs on the top pool with the swimmable bar was hard. The minute you got close to the beach a million people tried to sell you something, you could not have a conversation because of the interruptions. Finally, the hotel was incredibly loud all day and night. There was pounding music on the beach at all times and there was loud music that we could hear until at least midnight in our room. It was an okay hotel, based on the ratings, I expected 4-5 star service and an experience. This is a great party hotel but not a family hotel.

We stayed in the nicest room they had and paid way too much - not a good value. Toom (especially bathroom) was poorly designed, kitchen area was poorly laid out. Not enough elevators - too many stairs. God bless the American Disabilities Act. Every single drink served, alcoholic, or not, was in an aluminum can - plastic water bottles, everywhere, yet there was no sign that the hotel recycles. Last, as a top paying customer, in their best room... NOTHING was complimentary - not even the in-room coffee which was horrible. The only thing complimentary was an arrival drink where they tried to sell us on something similar to a timeshare.

I would have given this property a better rating but the entire check in process ruined it. We arrived at 2 and were shown our original room at 3. This room was on a pathway with no privacy and someone was smoking while sitting on our patio ledge. When we refused the room, we were shown an oceanfront suite and told we could have it for $200 more a night (we already paid $550/night). We said no. We were then shown a room where we had to go through construction, and said no. We were eventually given the oceanfront room but he entire time someone was badgering us to listen to their sales pitch. Were offered a free ATV tour if we agreed to go. We finally agreed to go just to get them to shut up. We got to our room at 5:00, after listening to them for 3 hours. They kept telling us they were getting our room ready even though we already saw the room and saw it was ready. One of the concierges said they were changing the microwave. Um, ok. In the morning, they called our room three times! 7:30, 8:00, and 8:30. Then texted us until we blocked them. This was their “fancy room” and there were many problems: the pull out bed had no sheets, blankets or pillows, only one overhead light in the bathroom (nothing around the mirror to do makeup), coffee maker had no filters and there was a charge for coffee (has anyone EVER paid for in-room coffee at a hotel before?), the club noise throughout the hotel was loud the entire time until midnight, the room was dated. I’m out of characters.

Corazon was clean, convenient, and had very friendly staff! The pools were great with fantastic service. Food overall was good, but our favorite was Baja Brewery! This hotel's location was one of the main reasons we chose to stay. We were able to walk to shopping and restaurants while being on a swimmable beach. My only downside to our visit was all of the vendors...everywhere. They are not on the actual property, however they were very close on the beach and all over town.
