“Would defenitely return to this hotel”
The hotel is not "brand new" but they really try to keep it nice and clean and it is. The bed was a little hard for me but everything else was good. We had a plumbing issue with the shower, within 5 minutes after we called the front desk, we had a plumber fixing the problem and the front desk apoologized for the inconvenience. What makes this hotel better than others is the staff who is most helpful, friendly and always give a friendly smile. From the staff at the reception desk to the cleaning staff, everyone is very friendly. The hotel's location is only a short 5 -10 minute drive by bus or taxi to downtown. It also has it's own reserved beach area which kept the vendors away. I would recommend that you do spend a little more on the room, over looking the ocean with the nice kitchenet since there will be times when you'll just want to have something in your room and rlook at the ocean from the balcony. There's a big difference in the room size as well, certainly worth the extra money.
“Relaxation at its Best”
This relatively small hotel is huge in service! The all-inclusive is well worth it as the food is varied and wonderful! The new chef combines flavor with beauty. From the moment you arrive, until you leave, the friendly staff are available to help you. The resort doesn't really offer a spa nor does it offer activities, so if you are interested in the active party scene, this resort may not be for you. However, if you want to relax, eat and drink, you couldn't go wrong. A recent change of ownership may explain running out of tequila and beer a few times. No worries, there is plenty of other available alcohol with tequila and beer arriving soon. The Expedia site doesn't allow for an option to have an ocean view, so when you arrive, you must request the upgrade which may or may not be available.
“Most Relaxing Experience”
I had an amazing vacation in Cabo and staying at Bel Air and had EVERYTHING to do with it! It was so much better than previous reviews had described. AMAZING staff, great pool & restaurant facilities, right on the beach, clean, quiet, and again, the most friendly and hospitable staff that I have EVER received! The food is pretty good, large portions and you'll pay American prices, but the convenience is really nice. If you are a surfer, this is the closest, most affordable resort to the famous breaks Zippers, La Rocas & Old Mans. Also a bonus, the bus stop is directly across the entrance of the Bel Air making an easy and cheap trip to San Lucas or downtown San Jose.
“Great Customer Service”
Everyone was great they always tried to look out for our needs. Friendly staff overall. Great Time
“Lovely Holiday”
Once we knew that we were in the right place, all the staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean, the beach raked beautifully, situated in between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. We did have a wonderful time in this area as we had a car and could tour around with no problems.
“Can't wait to go back”
I FEEL AND LIVED THE BEAUTY OF LOS CABOS, THAT WAS THE BEST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR VACATION
“The Bomb”
Excellent, cute hotel, many freebies, and great customer service, its a must for anyone who wants to restin a great place
“Nice place, great if all you like to do is swim, eat, watch TV”
Nice place, clean and comfortable enough. Don't be tricked by a complimentary breakfast, it's only bread and coffee, and it's only from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. (there was even no bread left by 6.30, when we came). Good news: a big Mega store close by ( about 20 min. to walk, or pay $5 for taxi one way) has pretty much all you need: bakery, meats, produce, deli, etc. There are two restaurants on site, but with 3 kids was quite spendy for us. The ocean temperature was perfect in July. However, be prepared for big waves, which only look scary, but the water is very shallow. Our 9 & 11-year old had a lot of fun jumping over the waves. There are better beaches, we were told, in about 30-60 min. driving distance.
“Good, quiet and relaxing hotel”
A very quiet and relaxing hotel. If you are looking for "out of the city" type of hotel, this is the place. Not a crowded hotel which is good for relaxation. Located right on the beach. Great staff, very friendly and helpful.
“Make Your Own Kind of Music”
The management of both the front desk and the restuarant were extremely accommodating. The staff, although extremely pleasant, had difficulty understanding Engilsh and providing services in an efficient manner. The resort is clean and well kept. Often though, the room did not get serviced until very late in the afternoon. Amenitities were not always provided...i.e. toiletries, and replensihing the refridge. It is not located in the hotel section of Cabos San Jose. The resort is small, quiet and offers nothing as far as activites are concerned. It is a wonderful place to just chill out and enjoy the beautiful scenery and climate.
