“Good service and clean”

The hotel has very good staff that tries to solve any problem that arises. It is clean, has security box and it is comfortable.

Personnel très pro, au service des voyageurs, on a aimé piscine correct, peu fréquentée, très bien exposée, propre, on se sentait chez soi En arrivant on croit ne pas loger au meilleur endroit de long beach, mais on se rend compte, après ballades, que c'est très bien ici et qu'il n'y a pas mieux ailleurs dans le coin très sécurisé, parking super, tout se passe comme sur des roulettes, familial ou pro, qqs restaus aux alentours. parfait quand on a une voiture comme partout aux us

“Good economy place”

People on staff were polite and friendly. We stayed on night and everything was fine, close to downtown areas, clean and enjoyable.

After reading some of the other reviews on this hotel, I was just a little concerned. I was very pleased with everything. Staff very helpful, location excellent, room very clean and very quiet. It's not a 5 star but for the price, I would certainly stay there again.

“Vagabond Inn Convention Center Long Beach, CA”

It was a pleasant motel for a few days stay. Conveniently located a block from the beach in Downtown Long Beach. They had the flair of motel's and hotel's of old, with patterns in all of the napkins in the room. There were different and delicious restaurants in short walks from the hotel. A definite place to stay.

“Nice for the price.”

It is an older motel and I noticed repairs being made on each of my 3 visits, so upkeep is being attempted. The two different rooms I stayed in on those visit each had some minor issue. The one that both had was that when you turned on the AC/Heat unit it blew the curtains up and away from the windows leaving a partial view from outside. Diverters on the vent could correct that. A DVD player would be nice since there are no premium channels in their cable network. The TV has visible jacks if you want to bring your own and hook it up. The managers and staff are friendly and smile as you pass in the hallways. Overall exceptionally clean in room and public areas.

Area around hotel is safe and secure. Location is excellent. Close to LA, Anaheim. Driving to San Diego was easy. Can walk to the beach, Aquarium, and Queen Mary. Walked to jazz festival (1000 feet :-). Nearby groceries are good, but no good cafes around. Breakfast is too simple. Pool is small, but useful after the beach. Room was clean as it can be in 50+ years old hotel. Parking was free. Overall: I'll stay in this hotel if ever come back to Long Beach.

Our room was newly renovated. Everything was so new and clean. I really liked it. The best is the people who work there. They are very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent. I found a laundromat, two gas stations, and a few restaurants nearby. It was very convenient. However, don't expect too much. After all it is not a fancy hotel. It is basic, but practical.

I wentthere for a trade show. The place is only blocks from the Convention Center.
