“OH YEAH”
Not afraid of your own shadow? Looking for an adventurous LA experience without the LA douchebaggery? Meet me at the Tradewinds. Not for the faint of heart...but mighty fun for the mighty spirited! Friends & I were short on funds and the Tradewinds fit our budget and seemed to offer a lot so we took a chance. It was actually a lot of fun and very helpful for anyone on budget. Hotel restaurant food was tasty and filling, and drinks at the bar were CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. Clean suites, lots of cool non-locals . Yeah the neighborhood is not the greatest but the grounds were secured and we all felt safe. The place is probably better for young couples and single party people...
“Great low-budget getaway”
The hotel service was great here. Sure it's not your 5 star or hotel by anymeans, but the rooms were clean, had everything you needed, a heated pool, lots of freebies (best was free shuttles to multiple places, but also had free champaigne, small meals at supper, popcorn, cookies at night, coffee, wifi). The pool was a bit dirty the one day I went in, but usually was clean. The restaurant on site has excellent, well priced food. There are terminals you can pay for internet and printing for cheap. Others have complained about the noise, I noticed none, but I was on the far side of the hotel. Rooms 140, 240 and up are on the other side so shouldnt have a problem. Only complaint would be the location because it's about 1 hour transit to attractions, but manageble and for the price your not going to find anything close. They also have lockers too for any valuables in case you want, though I had nothing stolen. TV has 6 channels, but who watches mutch anyways? Also, wifi limited in signal to mostly lobby/pool area. Front staff and shuttle drivers very caring and nice. Overall a great stay, would definately go back again.

I CHOSE THIS HOTEL FOR THE PRICE, CONVENIENT LOCATION & FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE, BUT THIS AIRPORT HOTEL IS MUCH MORE THAN JUST A PLACE TO SLEEP BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT! MY ROOM WAS NICE - CLEAN, COMFORTABLE & QUIET. I WAS DEFINITELY NOT EXPECTING ALL THE EXTRAS AVAILABLE. THE POOL WAS HEATED & CLEAN. I HAD NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT

It was actually fun and very helpful for anyone on budget. The food was fresh, and there were so many complimentary specials. Clean suites, lots of non locals . Yeah the neighborhood is not the greatest. But the hotel is well guarded secured. I felt safe. And the scenery is beautiful...this hotel is better for young couples, single people, party type of people...

the only thing of concern was the carpet was a little sticky, but everything else was great.

This hotel is "Dated" the front desk people need "happy pills" it does not over shadow the positives of this hotel. The cost is great, the pool is fine, and the outdoor sitting area is relaxing. If you need to rent a car get it from the hotel, those guys are great!

This was a great hotel! My group had a great time there, lots of free stuff, take advantage! Everyone was friendly, and the rooms were large and very clean! It was well worth it, and we are planning on going back every time we are in the area!
