“Great Hotel”
Really enjoyed our week there, better than the hotel we originally started at that had a 4star review!
“weekend getaway”
location is great! walking distance to major attractions at Hollywood blvd. The hotel is going through an intense renovation, if you dont mind this, it is the place for your Hollywood stay.
“Good location.”
It is really close to the Hollywood street and you can walk to Kodak theater. Don't expect the service and the breakfast.
“Ok for price”
Hotel was what I expected for the price. The only complain is the $15 fee for parking. If I'm paying for a room, parking should be included.
“Great location wait till renovations are done”
This hotel was undergoing renovations at the time of our stay. The room was not completed and the bathroom door wouldn't close all the wAy. The handle on the door wasn't even on properly. It didn't seem very secure as anyone could walk in there. The service was excellent. The bed was comfortable and it was in a great location. It was close to everything we wanted to do. The pool is very small and was very dirty we couldn't use it. I think that once it is done the renovations it will be great.
“You get what you pay for”
* Asked for non-smoking room, but the room smelled like smoke. We changed rooms no problem, just inconvenient * Returned to the hotel in the evening and had to park on the grass in front of the hotel sign. It was a small space and it took about 5 minutes to manuever the car right. * Almost got in a fight with unsavory characters who mistook my car for someone else's. The price was fair enough but you get what you pay for. On the other hand, it was close to Hollywood nightlife and the staff was helpful.
“Wait until remodeling is over”
They are in the middle of remodeling so dont trust the pictures on the site. Those are the finished results, not what is actually there. The construction dust/scuffs/missing items detracted from my overall stay. The room we stayed in was 80% finished, it was missing paint and a fridge. Beds were new and fantastic.
“Not so much. . .”
Under remodel and it's a mess. Very loud traffic noise. Bed was comfortable. Would not stay there again.
“Comfort Inns”
the rooms were dingy and not well lit,but the worst was that when you came down for breakfast,no coffee, no hot water, this was happening everyday with no improvement even after complaining,,no bread, no cereal. what made it worse that there were no proper places to eat because they were having a refit so we had to eat in the lobby.Comfort has for the first and last time let me down. “eh ...”
the renovations are loud and annoying.. the room smelled like fresh plaster and paint .. None of the vending machines are stocked.. I had to walk a block away to get a soda.. The internet speeds were dreadful.. The bed was comfy.. The tv was huge .. but they mostly had standard def channels .. so they look like poop..
