“Clean, Great Service”

This hotel was clean and well maintained. The front desk staff, especially Edwin, was friendly and helpful. For the price, you get all the extras....a decent continental breakfast (only thing missing was yogurt and meat), evening snacks... the room had a refrigerator and daily newspaper. Parking was convenient and free. Free DVDs available. The housekeeping staff readily cleaned my room for me when I requested. The only thing that concerned me was the safety of the rooms farthest from the front desk (which is where we stayed). Better lighting might have helped. But all in all, a great deal!

“Treated Well, Great Bargain”

Super 8 was a great place to stay. I searched over 2 hours on the net to find a bargain. Sometimes you get what you pay for. The previous reviews helped make my decision. All staff were courteous. Our room was clean and comfortable. We've paid a lot more in the past for bad hotels. We have no complaints for Super 8 and intend to come back. Edwin was an awesome manager! Customer service goes a long way!

“The Manager was very friendly, made accomodations as we requested”

The Manager was very friendly and outgoing he made accomodations to keep us in the same room when we requested another day. He gave us great directions to get to the hotel and made an effort to get us in our room a little early since he knew we had been traveling from Texas. Pool and jacuzzi where fun, too!

“Cheap but suprisingly good”

I travel to LA regularly with my business . I usually stay in hotels twice the price but this time stayed at the Long Beach Super 8 . Was pleasantly suprised . The internet connection was excellent , the shops are walking distance , easy to locate and it ticked all the right boxes . The staff were great and super helpful also . Will be staying there next time I'm in that part of the USA .

“Looking forward to next visit. . . .”

~We had reserved two non-smoking rooms for my dghtr, two granddghtrs and myself. But because of the smell of smoke the manager changed us the next day to better 'air' rooms. The location of the motel is in a nice quiet area of Long Beach~~not too far from CSLB which we were visiting during our stay of four days. With parking and a generous breakfast plus a lovely swimming pool area ~~ with a jacuzzi pool & shuffleboard~~~ all in a tropical setting ~~~we enjoyed our short vacation. I am looking forward to staying there again.

“No complaints”

I stayed here for one night this last weekend, and everything was great. The young man at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. We told him we might be checking out pretty early in the morning and he offered to have breakfast out a hour early if we needed it. When we got there in the evening, they had snacks in the lobby for guests to relax and watch TV. The room was clean and quiet. There was also a security door that we had to put our key in to enter the corridor to the rooms which was nice. The continental breakfast was really the best i've ever seen. They had many different kinds of cereal, make your own waffle station, bagels, fruit and muffins. Also coffee, flavored creamers, all kinds of tea and juice. I would definitely stay here on my next trip to Long Beach.
