“Great hotel, great location”

Great location to shopping and reataurants in Beverly Hills and Hollywood. The hotel was very nice and the beds are comfy. My room was a little on the small side, but the bathroom was nice and big. Room service was prompt,but I wasn't really impressed with the food. Go out to one of the many cafes.

“Outstanding service”

This was our second visit in 2 months to this hotel and we have noticed that every employee goes that extra step to make your visit a comfortable one. The staff is not pretentious but very genuine. The bellhop would go back to the elevator to hold it for us; the hostess at the restaurant would always take note if the customer was wearing black pants and offer a black napkin so the lint on a white napkin would not rub off; the waitstaff is also very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located directly across the street from the Beverly Center (which is not very impressive, but I think they are expanding/renovating in the future. The nightly rate was not outrageous.

I visited LA for my boy's college tour. Sofitel locates in the middle of UCLA and USC. (West LA and Downtown) It is right across the street from Beverly Cente(one of the busiest and popular mall) and nearby restaurants. They serve complimentary coffee in the lobby (as early as 4:30 in the morning) and access to computer. The room is not very big but the right size for two people with cute European interior. It was very clean.All the attendants were kind and nice. Only thing is this hotel has no self-parking. I didn't see but my boy says that gym is a good size with nice equipments. I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

“Great Stay, excellent service, good location”

The bed, room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and relaxing. The service was top-notch, professional and friendly. Located across the street from the Beverly Center in West Hollywood, the hotel is a nice walk to Beverly Hills and a short Drive to Melrose. I will be returning to the Sofitel on my next trip to Los Angeles. FYI: Valet parking only (but everytime I need the car, it was waiting for me).

“5-star experience at the Sofitel LA”

This was one of my best travel experiences yet! We arrived at the hotel at 11pm and we're instantly greeted by no less than 5 bell men who didn't let us lift a finger. Check in took less than a minute and within 5 minutes we were in our room with all of our luggage. The room was very spacious and had a great view of the hills - we could even see the Hollywood sign! I had read the blogs about the valet parking being really slow and annoying but this was the complete opposite of our experience. The staff were all super friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our every need. The concierge was especially great and helped us to print maps/directions to anywhere we wanted to go. They also had some great recommendations on delicious restaurants in the area. I should also mention that the location of this hotel could not have been better! We were central to everything in the city (hot restaurants, night clubs, shops, and tourist attractions such as the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Grove). We even had a couple of celebrity sightings at the coffee shop just down the street at La Cienega and 3rd. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again when I return to LA!

Everything about the hotel is great. Most comfortable beds of any hotel I've stayed at. Great location.
